Built by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/106" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Trinity Yachts (Company)">Trinity Yachts</a> in 2016, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/4910" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Imagine58.83m (193'0&quot;)Trinity Yachts2016">Imagine</a> is one of the shipyard's largest creations by length. The yacht's elegant exterior and naval architecture were designed in-house by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/106" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Trinity Yachts (Company)">Trinity</a>, while the interior, crafted by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/107" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Sylvie Charest (Company)">Sylvie Charest</a> with input from the owner’s wife, boasts rich mahogany finishes and inlaid marble ensuites. Inside, the full-beam main saloon features a grand piano and recessed lighting, while the sky lounge offers a contemporary setting with a bar. On deck, the three-deck yacht provides vast outdoor spaces, including a sundeck with a Jacuzzi, sun pads, and a bar, along with storage for a 6.4-metre tender and Jet skis.

One of the last projects to have been completed at Trinity Yachts in New Orleans, Louisiana is the 59-metre motor yacht Imagine. The yacht was launched in 2016 and has managed to escape international press since the project was signed back in 2013. Imagine is one of the largest yachts built by the American shipyard with a generous beam of 10.2 metres. Nevertheless, she still manages to reach a top speed of 19 knots and is suited to cruising shallow areas such as the Bahamas with a draft of only 2.4 metres. Her exterior is the design work of Geoff van Aller, Trinity’s in-house naval architect.

Harvey Gulf International Marine, based in New Orleans, has reported that it has acquired the assets of Trinity Yachts including its affiliated commercial vessel companies. These companies include TY Offshore, which specializes in the design and building of vessels for the offshore energy sector and patrol craft.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/155142/image/large-ae3fe1b3d4ad74041be6d5564368bb08.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/155142">Though the latest announcement focuses greatly on the new company’s involvement in the commercial ship construction and deliveries, such as the company’s monopoly over the building and operating of dual fuel (diesel/LPG) offshore supply vessels, Shane J. Guidry, chairman and CEO of Harvey Gulf reports that they plan to continue the construction of superyachts at the yard.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/155143/image/large-4d282d2eabf747fb788bfe902ef8b941.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/155143">According to Guidry, project T062 a 58.83 meter superyacht, will be completed as contracted and that they are evaluating whether or not to complete projects T-052 and T056 on spec. Trinity Yachts bought by Harvey Gulf International Marine

Trinity Yachts has announced that long-time Trinity clients have embarked on their next Trinity, a 193’ (59m) tri-deck custom built aluminum superyacht with a generous 33.5’ (10.2m) beam.The yacht will be built in Trinity’s New Orleans, Louisiana shipyard by the same experts that have built this repeat owner’s previous yachts. Trinity’s entire staff and shipyard tradesmen are looking forward to starting this new project and appreciate the expertise the owner’s experienced team brings to the project. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/143051/image/large-03588781ee66cad15995f2bcd1e30a90.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/143051">The new yacht will have a total of six staterooms for the owner and guests as well as a spa with a full bath below decks. Although the yacht will not charter, she will be ABS classed and MCA compliant for yachts over 500 IGT. This new yacht is significantly larger than their previous Trinity yachts while still meeting the owner’s requirements to be able to still cruise their favorite spots in the Bahamas and also have a good turn of speed when necessary. With 8’ (2.4m) of draft in normal operation and a top speed of more than 19 knots, the operating parameters to meet the client’s cruising expectations are satisfied. The yacht’s striking exterior styling is being executed by Geoff van Aller, Trinity’s in house naval architect with significant input from the clients. The interior design will be created by the same designer that produced their previous yacht’s world-acclaimed interior design. Crew comfort, privacy and accessibility have also been taken into consideration during the design process. With four crew cabins below deck forward, two cabins below deck aft, and the captain’s cabin aft of the pilothouse, the crew will find this new yacht exceptionally spacious and comfortable. There are also separate crew companionways to all decks, enabling the crew to service all areas of the yacht efficiently without disruption to the owner and guests. Exterior areas of the yacht are designed to be comfortable and versatile as is evident by the layout. The aft main deck has air conditioning over the raised seating area and the sundeck has full height sliding glass doors to block the wind when necessary. A diesel powered Novurania—capable of carrying the entire owner’s party ashore—will be housed in a garage located in the stern of the yacht. The garage door will fold down and the entire area will double as a “beach club” when the tender is deployed.
