The 42.4-metre <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/64" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Oceanco (Company)">Oceanco</a> motor yacht <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/1954" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Idefix42.37m (139'0&quot;)Oceanco1998">Idefix</a> sold in a deal with Michel Chryssicopoulos of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/244" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="IYC (Company)">IYC</a> representing the buyer and Tassos Papantoniou of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/307" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Torrance Yachts (Company)">Torrance Yachts</a> standing in for the seller during negotiations. <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/1954" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Idefix42.37m (139'0&quot;)Oceanco1998">Idefix</a> was delivered in 1998 from the Netherlands and has been maintained and operated to extremely high standards by her experienced owners.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/217690/image/large-bdaaa0031eb9680d74524fb6000124c4.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/217690"><a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/1954" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Idefix42.37m (139'0&quot;)Oceanco1998">Idefix</a>, previously named Blacksheep, benefited from a refit in 2010 as well as a full paint job in 2015. Idefix offers accommodation for up to 12 guests, and 10 crew. Oceanco's 42 metre superyacht Idefix

Fergus Torrance of Titan, Hyde &amp; Torrance reports a busy month with THT representing the buyers of the 42.5m Oceanco Blacksheep and the 39m Picchiotti Alta, as well as the confidential sale of a large classic motor yacht. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/124402/image/large-a2beb0e4f53d571f17cad8927267f077.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/124402">Blacksheep, now renamed <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/1954">Idefix</a>, was built by Oceanco in 1998 to a design of The A Group and was originally named Aspiration. Idefix is underway to the Mediterranean, where she arrives in Genoa today for the first time since her launch. The 39m Alta has been renamed <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/1141">Tamarindo</a>. She was built by the famous Italian shipyard Picchiotti in 1987. She will now undergo a major 12 month refit, using UK contractors, retaining her modern classic style by her new owner. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/124403/image/large-96c696c1c397b366ca3b03a16f754aca.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/124403">Both Idefix and Tamarindo will be offered for charter through THT as central agents from Spring 2009 onwards. On the charter retail side, THT reports a strong start to the season with six charters booked at MIPIM, including a repeat charter on the 82m <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/1096">O'Mega</a>, and strong bookings for the summer season ranging from the 116m <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/935">Turama</a> to the 28m Mistrali. Titan, Hyde & Torrance sells three superyachts

IYC (International Yacht Collection, LLC.), is pleased to announce the addition of two new superyachts to their charter and management fleet, the M/Y Tuscan Sun and the M/Y Chevy Toy (ex Janie). <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/124390/image/large-bc3d79fba03a75751035811b0ec9acb5.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/124390">The 147’ 7” (45m) six (6) stateroom M/Y <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/324">Tuscan Sun</a> was built in 2006 by Izar/Navantia and can accommodate twelve (12) guests. She has a crew of nine (9). The beautiful interior also includes oversize windows on the main and bridge decks that provide stunning views. A selection of water toys are available as well as a gym. The Tuscan Sun is available at a rate of EU 160,000/wk. for the Summer of 2008 and $235,000/wk. for the Winter of 2008/09. Built in 2004 by Trinity Yachts, this plush superyacht has a baby grand piano, large swim platform, and air-conditioned alfresco dining for 10 on the aft deck. There is also a Kaleidescape entertainment system throughout for easy selection from yacht’s central movie and music libraries. The Chevy Toy is available at a rate of $157,000/wk. in the Bahamas for Summer 2008 and $165,000/wk. in Winter 2008/09 in Caribbean - Windward, Caribbean – Leeward. IYC is pleased to announce a very active recent brokerage period with the sales of the following central listing yachts: Frank Grzeszczak and Chany Sabates sold M/Y Janie, a 157ft. (47.8m) Trinity built in 2004. Frank Grzeszczaks’ central listing, M/Y Black Sheep (now <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/1954">Idefix</a>) was sold; Black Sheep is a 139ft. (42.4m) Oceanco built in 1998. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/124392/image/large-83af3b1eb944fe7aa3db8a501a8847f3.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/124392">Noell Vawter represented both the buyer and seller in the sale of the 100ft. (30m) M/Y Espresso II, a Broward built in 2001. Espresso II was an IYC central listing of both Robert (Bob) McKeage and Noell Vawter. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/124393/image/large-d2e546ae6f4cf700d8da66605017296b.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/124393">Frank Grzeszczak sold a new 164ft. (50m) Trinity Yacht; <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/2345">M/Y T057</a> (no name given) will be due for delivery in 2011. She will have a semi-displacement hull with twin 3616B Caterpillars, a tender garage, and a forward facing panoramic owners’ suite on the main deck. At the recent Miami Charter &amp; Brokerage show, Jim McConvilles’ central listing, M/Y Quintessa was sold; Quintessa is a 94ft. (28.7m) Destiny built in 2000. Also sold at the Miami Charter &amp; Brokerage show was Tim Johnsons’ M/Y Yoly, a 92ft. (28m) Cheoy Lee built in 1999.
