<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/358" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Azimut Yachts (Company)">Azimut Yachts</a> has completed their first 25.2-metre pocket superyacht, the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/9057" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Azimut Grande Magellano 25/0125.2m (82'8&quot;)Azimut Yachts2020">Azimut Magellano 25 Metri</a>, a yacht created in partnership with interior designer and architect <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5564" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Vincenzo De Cotiis Architect (Company)">Vincenzo De Cotiis</a>. Exterior designer <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/148" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ken Freivokh Design (Company)">Ken Freivokh</a> produced the first hull design with a brass colour and mustard ‘beauty stripe’.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/170469/image/large-68f8b0215d517c5d97ede7950e832bbf.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/170469"> <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/170468/image/large-ee2736534375a1ef25a50fabc6d045d9.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/170468">The central element in the exterior design is the fully-glazed superstructure, created to convey a penthouse overlooking the sea. Guests will also find non-slip surfaces on the transom and retro-style windows in the hull. The carbon fibre project draws on the latest technological developments, including a NASA-patent air sanitising system, fuel-efficient Dual Mode hull and a zero-emission mode when at anchor.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/170485/image/large-c07dc314cc0012d41c5d92f4b625d4d7.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/170485"><img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/170493/image/large-3981789848c575e7479da7f3c0e4b097.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/170493">Inside, an essential material for the interior décor is fibreglass and a 'special' resin used for several art pieces that appear as multiple layers embellished with bronze powder. In contrast, the interior designer used various woods such as brushed Verde Alpi marble, dark walnut wood, carpet, polished brass, lacquered wood and ribbed wood to create flowing shapes throughout the yacht. &nbsp;<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/170495/image/large-9b526a134287f7ea968a13fec50c314c.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/170495"><img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/170497/image/large-49c5730761078c08a242b3caf46ebe71.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/170497">The large saloon has been designed to offer a view of the sea from any perspective, including the dining table and the connecting outdoor space, which includes a dry bar.
