At the end of the day, we are in the relationship business, and this is where we shine,” explained Richard Lambert, Head of Sales.The charter team celebrated 860 trips this year, with clients collectively spending 1,100 weeks or 7,700 days on charter this year. “Our US clients were ready to get back to the Mediterranean, after many chose to charter closer to home in the Bahamas or Caribbean for the last couple of years,” commented Head of Charter, Ben Harwood.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/60231/image/large-0b292c1bd241974f4a9356d8171b1723.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/60231">The peak weeks for charter were from mid-June to mid-August, where the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/159" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Burgess (Company)">Burgess</a> fleet was booked out. This meant that clients had to book very early to ensure that they got the choice of yachts for the weeks they wanted. The highly experienced team of sales brokers and naval architects allows for a seamless experience for clients that are wishing to build a new yacht. Amels to display superyacht Bel Abri at Monaco Yacht Show

Its amazing boats don’t go there more often, but having recently been launched in Holland, the Amels 171 Bel Abri was not going to miss a chance to cruise the fjords of Norway. Against the towering backdrop of the ruggedly beautiful mountains which plunge into the icy waters of the fjords around Bergen, the 171-footer shimmered like a tiny jewel. It was a rare opportunity for the yacht to enjoy such spectacular surroundings before making her way south for a full season of charter work in the Mediterranean.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/131598/image/large-35e097658dcddb258eac51f760f842a7.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/131598">Bel Abri is the sixth hull of the Limited Editions Amels 171 range to be launched by the Dutch shipbuilder. From start to finish, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/2444" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="April52.3m (171'7&quot;)Amels2010">Bel Abri </a>was commissioned and delivered within two years. The yacht caught our attention right away and clearly stood out from a great number of other options. After we had thoroughly reviewed specifications, renderings and various other data, it became clear that the Limited Editions Amels 171 was the best solution for the owner, as this yacht met all his expectations.”<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/131603/image/large-687049af4d340f2c9aa1886059bb2695.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/131603">However, Imperial then set their ambitions even higher. “Between Imperial and Amels, we jointly revised some of the technical characteristics,” says Kochman. “And for the design of the interior we appointed Laura Sessa from Rome. I wanted the Amels 171 to feel like a very grand yacht. This is the second Amels yacht that he has captained. “The good thing about an Amels yacht is that everything works,” says Bryant. “That might sound obvious, but you’d be surprised how much can go wrong on a yacht as complex as this. Because Amels is part of the Damen Group, they have a heritage of commercial shipbuilding which you can see in an Amels luxury yacht. Superyacht of the Week: The Amels 171 Bel Abri

Lantic has seen its Premium system installed on a succession of yachts from the 52m 171 Limited Editions series designed by Tim Heywood and built at the Dutch superyacht yard Amels. The latest to be launched is hull 455, the fifth in the series, which took to the water earlier this year.The system that Lantic specified for her allows for a total of 21 independent zones, all with access to the same central server loaded with movies and music. This particular system also integrates with a state‐of‐the‐art McIntosh audiovisual system for the highest presentation standards of both sound and visual in the main areas.Further enhancements include integration with a total of nine CCTV cameras as well as the lighting and air‐conditioning systems, allowing full control of the local environment in each zone via the Lantic remote control.Lantic systems can be found across a range of the Amels 171 Limited Editions superyachts launched in recent years, including <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/25" data-legacy="true" href="#managed-by-application">Deniki</a>, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/27" data-legacy="true" href="#managed-by-application">Were Dreams</a> and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/90" data-legacy="true" href="#managed-by-application">Lady Nag Nag</a>, and subsequent models <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/1306" data-legacy="true" href="#managed-by-application">456</a>,<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/2444" data-legacy="true" href="#managed-by-application">457</a> and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/2445" data-legacy="true" href="#managed-by-application">458</a> currently in build are also due to have Lantic Premium systems installed.
