When CMB Yachts launched its last big superyacht, the 47-metre Orient Star, in 2012, it would be another five years before this Turkish shipyard returned to the superyacht scene with a bang. Liquid Sky, or Project Miracle as she was known throughout her build, is an evolution of the shipyard’s 47-metre line of GRP yachts with an entirely new look by from the hand of Espen Oeino and his international team in Monaco.<img src="/uploads/store/photo/17291/image/large-9cb2235ce68735507deae343de6ef9ea.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/17291">Not only is the exterior style something new for CMB, but everything from the engineering, structural design and interior layout has been modified and updated for an entirely new experience on board. CMB’s architecture team made sure that Liquid Sky would deliver a safe and comfortable ride at sea while High Modulus and Gurit were in charge of the structural engineering to support the new face of the design.<img src="/uploads/store/photo/17307/image/large-1c8437c85f809c2297574c0802475412.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/17307">Seen from the outside, certain styling cues have remained that were found on Orient Star such as those curvy fixed side balconies on the upper deck and the long piano-key master suite windows.<img src="/uploads/store/photo/17306/image/large-3f3f7041ea07191bb369c9da55cd5864.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/17306">Oeino, however, added several improved touches, and nowhere is this more visible than on the sun deck. Gone are the wide and obscuring fashion plates that support the mast structure with now only three beams on each side creating a sensual experience at night with in-laid LED mood lights. Low side railing and an extended forward part now make this space bigger and brighter than ever before. The aft area is designed for sunbathing and connects with the large Jacuzzi. A waterfall feature in the bimini structure separates a wet bar from the rest of the pool. <img src="/uploads/store/photo/17299/image/large-9217936581d4713fc365ba77e99ef53b.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/17299"><img src="/uploads/store/photo/17303/image/large-24df9e1f90515b48f26ac03043a9b0a6.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/17303">The bridge deck aft is an LED light festival and this mood enhancing element has been applied to just about every corner of the outdoor space. Backlit marble behind the bar adds a mystical touch and the ebony superstructure inserts create a luxurious feel as you are drawn into the upper saloon.<img src="/uploads/store/photo/17297/image/large-08f10185b46fcfb874b41c3f0bf700ff.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/17297"><img src="/uploads/store/photo/17293/image/large-fefc9d8b4bec459d43a89aaa7a3f32ad.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/17293">The skylounge, as it is known, features curved floor-to-ceiling glazing on either side that opens up onto the side balconies for incredible views. Further forward past the giant TV wall is a gym for the more active guests on board.<img src="/uploads/store/photo/17301/image/large-9add189825dc1fcdf1cbd0a0a19ec951.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/17301"><img src="/uploads/store/photo/17302/image/large-2c44733deeebbd161453f425c766e509.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/17302"><img src="/uploads/store/photo/17304/image/large-beae56c010d223fe2e84250b1385d124.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/17304">The opulent interior is designed by Arte-Bel Design Studio and can accommodate up to 10 guests. The master suite forward on the main deck with its luxury beach house feel is the perfect retreat at the end of a fun day on the water. A private study and mini lounge welcome you as you walk into the suite and forward to the sleeping quarters and its bright and homely décor.<img src="/uploads/store/photo/17305/image/large-0798a20a5a0265215846accca332cbc1.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/17305"><img src="/uploads/store/photo/17298/image/large-5f93370d0116de149879603a70458e39.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/17298"><img src="/uploads/store/photo/17292/image/large-06972775e73a966fe186c8b61d4487af.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/17292">In addition, there are four more cabins on the lower deck, consisting of two VIPs and two guest cabins; each finished in its own colour theme. Superyacht of the Week: Lavish Liquid Sky

CMB Yachts’ new 47-metre motor yacht Liquid Sky was launched in Antalya, Turkey yesterday. The yacht was sold by Joan Plana at World Yacht Group with Juan Morillo of United Yacht Sales representing the buyer.

Built under the project name Miracle and now christened as Liquid Sky, the CMB104 was designed by Espen Oeino and has an interior by Arte-Bel Design Studio. The two Caterpillar C32 engines will provide a top speed of 16 knots and Liquid Sky comfortably cruises at 13 knots.

Inside are five staterooms for up to 12 guests with separate accommodations for 9 crew members.

47m superyacht Liquid Sky launched at CMB Yachts

The Turkish shipyard CMB Yachts is ready to launch its third ever superyacht, the 47-metre motor yacht Liquid Sky. The superyacht has been rolled out of the shipyard's shed in Antalya and will be lowered into the water later this week.

The exterior lines of the all-composite motor yacht are from the drawing board of Espen Oeino and she is built to RINA Class.

The superyacht was originally started on speculation and was sold earlier this year to a client from the United States. She will on display at the upcoming Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

CMB Yachts ready to launch Liquid Sky

Turkish shipyard CMB Yachts have revealed their three latest superyachts currently under construction; the CMB 104, Miracle, 105, Magic, and 106, Mina. All three yachts will be available for sale in the coming summer months.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/154113/image/large-070ec330098009d54747e5f2acb5b7a4.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/154113">The 46 metre Miracle boasts a design from Espen Oeino, and is due for delivery in 2016. Amongst her notable features are spacious deck areas, particularly on the bridge deck which comes complete with a bar and partially shaded al fresco dining area, as well as plenty of comfortable seating areas. Elsewhere, her sundeck is equally as inviting, with a large Jacuzzi to the aft of the deck surrounded by plush sun loungers. To the fore of the sundeck, a sophisticated seating area is found with three stone grey sofas positioned around two coffee tables, providing an ideal environment to drink a coffee in the morning and take in the beautiful surroundings, or socialise with friends and family in the evening.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/154114/image/large-b4709b9d4a663b801d7f7ceea08c9e94.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/154114">The 46 metre Magic also comes from the drawing board of Espen Oeino, boasting similarly expansive outdoor deck spaces as Miracle. Her large beach club leads seamlessly into the lower deck, creating a balance between indoor/outdoor living. From the interior renderings released by the shipyard, we can see that she will have a contemporary design.
