Acquired by an experienced yachtsman, Gulf Craft recently handed over its second 47-metre motor yacht in the Majesty 155 line – the largest vessel currently in production by the Middle Eastern shipyard. Sehamia is the owner’s fourth consecutive Gulf Craft yacht, having owned smaller vessels of the brand by the same name.

Sehamia differs from hull number one in the range, Escape, in particular with regards to her interior styling. Where Escape was lavishly finished with ornate touches of fabrics and surfaces materials, Sehamia is a slightly more contemporary affair, a process which the owner enjoyed. “I had different choices of luxurious materials and layout options to choose from. I’m delighted with the personalised purchase and look forward to many happy days that my family and friends will spend cruising on the superyacht.”

With an impressive interior volume of 550 GT, Sehamia is able to sleep up to 18 guests over eight staterooms while a further nine crew members can be accommodated in the five crew cabins.

Gulf Craft delivers second Majesty 155 superyacht Sehamia

During an industry announcement onboard the 48.5-metre superyacht Escape, Middle Eastern yacht builder Gulf Craft revealed its intentions of stepping up the size of yachts it will deliver in the future. The announcement came with the unveiling of two new superyacht concepts, ready to be constructed with the backing of a passionate superyacht client.

The new Majesty 200 and Majesty 175 showcases Gulf Craft’s ability to offer clients an increasingly more complex and advanced product. Both these 53-metre and 61-metre concepts are designed to be built using composite materials, continuing the yard’s skills in the use of the material.

Mohammed Hussein Al Shaali, Chairman of Gulf Craft, comments on the company’s decision to push the boundaries in composite superyacht construction: “Our aim is to continue redefining superyacht production using advanced composites to a size once thought impossible, all the while creating bespoke cruising experiences for our customers. Our ceaseless determination has led to this very moment, one where research and development meet megayacht design.”

The models are designed to feature luxurious interior spaces with grand outdoor decks and even retractable helipads, but the layout and final design remain open to interpretation to potential clients.

"Gulf Craft’s spirit has always been one of great ambition,” added Gulf Craft CEO, Erwin Bamps. “There were challenges to the size of yachts we can build, but we strived to overcome these limitations – in the last three years alone we successfully launched the Majesty 155, the Majesty 135, and the Majesty 122, and we have received multiple successive orders for each.”

Arriving two days ago in Dubai amidst the build-up to the Dubai International Boat Show 2016, the very first Majesty 155 superyacht from UAE shipyard Gulf Craft has been delivered to a client in Qatar. Named Escape, she measures 46.97 metres in length.

On board she features an array of sophisticated amenities, including a mosaic tiled Jacuzzi on the bridge deck, a cigar lounge on the main deck, as well as a custom elevator. Dutch brand Lift Emotion designed the elevator to reach all three interior guest decks, from the lower accommodation deck below, to the upper salon above.

The Majesty 155 model was first introduced to the industry in 2013, with the construction of the very first hull commencing in the same year. The inaugural vessel was completed in mid-2015 and is the largest superyacht model to be constructed by Gulf Craft to date.

Live from DIBS: Gulf Craft Majesty 155, Escape, delivered

Unveiled during a Royalty-attended ceremony in June at Gulf Craft’s facility in the UAE, the Majesty 155 became the largest yacht to emerge from the sheds of the Middle Eastern ship builder yet. Well established by now, the decision to move into a larger size range came as a natural step for Gulf Craft following on the success of their existing Majesty superyacht line-up. The new 155 model is designed to not just to push the boundaries in what is possible in this size range, but to also prove what exactly Gulf Craft is capable of.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/156209/image/large-c289a8795195aed4e036c3a6fd381a16.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/156209">Few yacht builders succeed in designing a vessel that appears to be much larger than what her overall length actually suggests. Gulf Craft managed to do so by creating an elegant and flowing exterior that builds on the established Majesty yachts’ image. From her catching mast shape down to the sweeping curves in the hull design by Yankee Delta Studio, the 155 exudes power, performance and no small amount of elegance while underway or at anchor.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/156210/image/large-04bd0f4858aad6967882e2c3005d8d91.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/156210">Starting from the spacious sundeck, it soon becomes clear this area is set up with socialising and ultimate relaxation in mind. Several meeting areas, each with their own purpose, have been laid out in such a way for guests to easily move around the deck space, without ever feeling overly separated. A circular meeting area has been set up forward providing excellent views ahead, with a bar and two dining/lounge areas aft. These spaces are all covered underneath a louvre-style deckhead structure.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/156211/image/large-d720ea61a12c920ae5ef4236f7484e3d.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/156211">The very aft section of this deck is kept exposed, fit for those looking to spend time in the sun. These make access to the various decks far more convenient for crew, who can do so without disturbing guests relaxing in the aft decks.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/156214/image/large-a70b527b34b440bc0d867ee84da86dfe.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/156214">On main deck below, wide side decks are further extended with a fold-down balcony on the starboard side, leading directly into the main salon inside. At anchor the large transom door can be opened to reveal a spacious beach club at water level. The door provides much needed shade to the interior space, with a square full beam swim platform is reserved for sunbathing and relaxing in between the watersports fun. Throughout a clever display of LED lighting enhances the already spacious feeling that the oversized windows create. Classy materials such as premium leathers, Onyx and Crema Marfil have been used to decorate The main salon again reminds one of being on a larger yacht, with excellent space in between the custom furniture and bulkheads, and wide corridors leading one’s eye forward, curios to explore the remaining interior spaces.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/156218/image/large-cadf91f800b17ca9afb7a54d56a4af99.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/156218"><img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/156219/image/large-b78344f175cd9ea7e1d305deb47eb47c.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/156219">The main lobby is one the access points to the custom elevator installed on board the Majesty 155. Dutch elevator specialist Lift Emotion designed the elevator to reach all three interior guest decks, from the lower accommodation deck below, to the upper salon above.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/156220/image/large-62ab885ee4f1e2390761e39503f989f9.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/156220">Moving further forward one reaches the marvellous full beam master suite. With the bed offset to port side, the arrangement leaves good space to access the en suite on the starboard side while allowing guests to enjoy the view outside from the comfort of their own bed. The dreamy ocean-inspired en suite alone will be enough to get you out of bed in the morning. A wonderfully bright space with clean lines and functional storage spaces is proof of the world-class design work and craftsmanship that has gone into the Majesty 155.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/156221/image/large-24629a70c8bbc111ab099ffca6a9dade.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/156221"><img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/156222/image/large-586423897db545545f764ace3c7abf7d.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/156222">This particular model of the 155 is fitted with a cigar lounge on main deck, just before you reach the master suite. This space can be outfitted on future models with a gym for instance. Two beautifully appointed twin cabins forward and two doubles cabins placed midships means owners no longer have to decide which are their favourite guests, as all these cabins are finished in absolute luxury. Her twin MTU 12V 4000 M63 engines, optimised for long range cruising and longevity, propels the yacht to a leisurely top speed of 16 knots. Gulf Craft has continued their skills in composite construction and opted to construct the 155 from GRP. UAE shipyard Gulf Craft has released these videos of the seatrials of their newly launched Majesty 155, the largest superyacht ever to be constructed with the brand. On saturday Gulf Craft officially unveiled their latest, and largest superyacht, the Majesty 155, at an exclusive event at the shipyard in Umm Al Quwain. The event was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'allah, member of the Supreme Council of the UAE and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain. Instead of placing the Jacuzzi on the sundeck, Gulf Craft installed it one deck below, on the bridge deck. The beachclub will be fully equipped with a pantry, a retractable television, and a spacious lounging area. Largest Gulf Craft superyacht to date launched

With the launch of the very first Majesty 155 superyacht scheduled at the end of this month, here are the latest exclusive pictures of the 46.97 superyacht. Built by the UAE based shipyard Gulf Craft, the vessel marks the largest construction ever to be made by the yard, and features naval architecture, exterior and interior design all done in-house by the Gulf Craft team.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/153386/image/large-aab401844698417db9cddc08e32685a3.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/153386">Constructed in GRP, she has a beam of 9.60 metres, a draught of 2.05 metres, and a Gross Tonnage of 467. Although the range comes in a variety of layout options, certain design elements remain the same throughout, including large windows which inundate her interiors with natural light and offer guests spectacular views. Oversized windows bathe the interior in natural light, delivering panoramic views over the water. The aft decks are designed for outdoor living with an aft beach club for relaxing after water sports. Owner’s and saloon balconies add even more light and space to the interior. First look inside the Majesty 155 superyacht
