The Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta 2023 will be returning in June for its 16th edition, held in the glorious waters surrounding Sardinia. Portofino Regate di Primavera 2023 is an invitation-only sailing event filled with some of the best-known Italian boat manufacturers. Atlantis II in Malta

Built as one of the largest yachtsin the world at the time of her launch in 1981, the 115.8-metre Atlantis II will go down in the history books as one of yachting’s icons. She was built at Hellenic Shipyards in Greece who delivered an identical sistership no called Issham Al Baher almost a decade before in 1973. Atlantis II has been under the same Greek ownership since her delivery and has become a familiar sight in the port of Monaco where she spends most of her time. Here she is seen in Malta taken last week.

Cantiere Nautico Tagliapietra, located just a few minutes away from San Mark Square, is well established in the Venitian marine business. Known for their quality of the craftmanship and the beautiful designs of the venetian water taxis, their boats are usually built for professional use or for those clients seeking professional grade boats. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/136263/image/large-adb7b0d3ebf0a84bba3b5d748074d339.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/136263">The yard has just delivered a beautiful classic custom built tender for the 115 metre<a target="_blank" href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/908">Issham Al Baher</a>, a superyacht we wrote about <a target="_blank" href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Article/37000">last week</a>. To enhance onboard comfort, the tender’s hull was shaped in a way to have the capability to get on plane at low rpm and low trim angle. Buoyancy and dynamic lift have been optimized to have excellent trim angle either with just one, or with 10 passengers. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/136264/image/large-3e4cdd2244f025d85360076e185e4878.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/136264">The Limousine is equipped with air conditioning, as well as a heating system, one refrigerator to serve the cabin and one to serve the aft cockpit. The cabin features three electric sun roofs. Issham Al Baher's new Venetian limousine tender

The 115 metre superyacht Issham Al Baher has always been a bit of a rare sight. However, she re-appeared on our radar a few years ago when she returned to the Med. The Caesar Pinnau designed superyacht, a sistership to Monaco resident Atlantis II, then moved on to Greece, where she was refitted. Some photos of the yacht appeared online, which led some to believe she was about to get scrapped, instead of being restored to her former glory.<img src="/uploads/store/photo/102167/image/large-8f38540c8f589e99cb3e234307381f87.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/102167"><img src="/uploads/store/photo/102163/image/large-e351ef047c7c8102a4dfc00c204c3c55.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/102163"><img src="/uploads/store/photo/102161/image/large-dbf0fffe35d8fc1e975ddbd3d75a56e0.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/102161">Luckily these photos, send by SYT reader Alexandros Priftis, taken in Lavrio, show the yacht in pristine condition. She now has a blue hull, and we can see several cosmetic changes. The most notable are the new much larger portholes aft on her main deck, as well as a large new fashion plate on the tender deck.
