The 85-metre superyacht&nbsp;<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/5958" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="O'Ptasia85.0m (278'10&quot;)">O’Ptasia</a> and the 57-metre <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/4456" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="O'Mathilde57.0m (187'0&quot;)">O’Mathilde</a> from Greek shipyard Golden Yachts have set out on their maiden voyage after successfully completing their sea trials earlier this year. <img src="/uploads/store/photo/40326/image/large-25b4936ff57204c54d86b0100159b519.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/40326"><a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/5958" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="O'Ptasia85.0m (278'10&quot;)">O’Ptasia</a>, the largest superyacht launched from Golden Yachts to date, features an exterior and interior designed by Studio Vafiadis. <img src="/uploads/store/photo/39987/image/large-14b6eda7b69bc778b2420f15519ac8b5.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/39987">She can accommodate up to 12 guests across 11 cabins, including three twin and eight double cabins, as well as an expansive owner’s suite spanning 95-sqm which offers a 180-degree panoramic view and an 85-sqm VIP suite with an adjoining private cinema. Other key features on board <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/5958" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="O'Ptasia85.0m (278'10&quot;)">O’Ptasia</a> include a large beach club complete with spa and wellness centre offering direct access to the swimming platform, a fully equipped gym on the bridge deck and a touch-and-go helipad on her bow, for helicopters up to a size MD500E. <img src="/uploads/store/photo/39957/image/large-86d442fa20f1ccb48c46e81dce53af63.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/39957">She is powered by twin Caterpillar 3516C diesel engines, offering a cruising speed of 16 knots and a maximum speed of 20 knots. Golden Yachts have announced the launch of the 57-metre motor yacht O'Mathilde,&nbsp;which took place on Monday.&nbsp;<img src="/uploads/store/photo/34601/image/large-de615cef171b3fa52110d72f3908b2e1.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/34601">Sporting a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, this 57-metre superyacht will feature interior design by Studio Vafiadis and accommodates up to 12 guests across seven staterooms, comprising five double staterooms and two twins. A crew of 12 is also accommodated for on board.&nbsp;<img src="/uploads/store/photo/34598/image/large-1106423136d6b9ae9134b6ecede3ce21.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/34598">With her power to be provided by twin Caterpillar diesel 2367 hp engines, O'Mathilde&nbsp;will reach a maximum speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots.&nbsp;This news follows the recent launch of Golden Yachts' 85-metre flagship O'Ptasia, with both O'Mathilde and O‘Ptasia currently available for charter.&nbsp;

A massive electrical storm affected Tuscany and in particularly Livorno's area that night. 2. The protection against extraordinary electrical shocks, including lightening strikes, in operation when a yacht is in commissioning, was not yet activated 3. There was no crew sleeping on board that night, no-one could hear the fire alarms.Benetti has immediately taken drastic measures to avoid any other extreme case like this may happen in the future. Benetti CEO comments on fire on project FB261

Benetti shipyard informs that yesterday morning around 7am in the Morosini dock area located inside the yard in Livorno, FB261 a Benetti 56 metre yacht in the final stages of construction - caught fire. The fire was most probably caused by a massive storm full of lightning and electricity in the atmosphere that affected Livorno overnight. Lightning possible cause of fire on board Benetti's FB261

Project FB261 has been launched by Benetti at Livorno's shipyard.
