The 47-metre motor yacht was designed by Stefano Natucci and launched in Viareggio in 2010.&nbsp;Africa&nbsp;can cruise at 20 knots and reaches a top speed of 24 knots. The yacht is a sistership to Imagination (now called Africa) and Panthera, delivered by the yard in 2010 and 2013. Benetti has recently launched superyacht project FB503, a 47 metre all aluminium superyacht designed by Italian designer Stefano Natucci. Bold and curvy lines, a firm silhouette and an overall sporty look define her exterior features. With her her large, tinted oval windows, metallic silver colour scheme and wavy forms, Panthera is all about sharp, futuristic strength. With a particularly soft and rich carpeting, reminiscent of a beach, contemporary furnishing and a warm, light colour palette of natural, sandy tones, the master stateroom boasts a soothing ambiance of pleasant modern luxury. Ample amounts of natural light flow into the room through large windows on either side, adding a sense of openness to the soft, contemporary design.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/146718/image/large-61fbde0246194259fff4b9b6e3094bc1.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/146718">Equally modern, yet showing off more colour contrasts with a palette based mainly on of black and white, the spacious en suite is open, cool and clean. One full beam VIP suite and two doubles offers every guest onboard luxurious, stylish and welcoming accommodations.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/146721/image/large-a9c01d0cedcc2e265d3ef29a8e7f1839.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/146721">The designs are definitely vibrant, although the colour palettes are, like the master stateroom's, mainly consisting of a balanced selection of grey, beige, sandy and silvery tones. Superyacht of the week: The contemporary Benetti superyacht Panthera

Benetti has now officially unveiled one of their latest deliveries, superyacht Panthera. We first published about this yacht when she was <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Article/41067">spotted</a> in the summer of 2013, but only now has the yard released more information about the yacht.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/146638/image/large-fbfd79af0aa2065056ae506f1dcd11a0.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/146638">Panthera is the second yacht in Benetti's 500 series. The first one, FB501 Imagination, was launched in 2010, and the third one, FB503, is scheduled for delivery in the spring of 2014. Constructed at Benetti's Livorno boatyard, the 500-series yachts are 100% aluminium, 47 metres long and 8.8 metres wide.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/146639/image/large-05b96e743ed3cafc3ac39ed3a5a8b056.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/146639">From a performance point of view, Panthera is lightweight and fast. While 47 metres long, the yacht’s aluminium construction means it only displaces 340 tonnes. The yacht has a maximum speed of 24 knots with a fuel consumption of 1.360 l/h, a 22-knot cruising speed, and a range of 3400 miles at her economical 12-knot speed.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/146640/image/large-7895898643248fc0dada99f3bce0f1f1.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/146640">Panthera's interior is a sophisticated combination of lighter and darker greys.
