The winners of Boat International Media's World Superyacht Awards 2018 have been revealed. Now in their 13th year, these awards celebrate the ingenuity and innovation which is demanded by the design, engineering and construction of the world’s finest superyachts.&nbsp;<img src="/uploads/store/photo/35396/image/large-4c2cc25bd028e6aec6c3cf7b4c53a1d8.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/35396">This year, two new categories were added, Support Vessels and Sail-Assisted Motor Yachts, in order to reflect the ever-changing nature of the superyacht industry. The Awards are judged by a committee of superyacht owners and thus represent the only peer-reviewed yachting awards in the world.&nbsp;There were a total of 68 nominations making up this year’s highly competitive class, with a total of 18 Neptune awards received by the winners. Multi-award-winning superyachts <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/5936" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Faith96.55m (316'9&quot;)">Faith</a> and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/4899" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Pink Gin VI53.7m (176'2&quot;)">Pink Gin</a> each took home two Neptune awards, both winning their individual categories and also being awarded the highest honour of best Sailing and Motor Yachts.&nbsp;Chris Downham, Chief Executive Officer at Boat International Media, said: “The World Superyacht Awards celebrate the extraordinary creations of the superyacht industry. A superyacht owner who has spent most of his life living on or near the water, he contributes to and supports both the Australian Olympic sailing team and the Youth Sailing Academy.&nbsp;Over the last decade, Lang has delivered more than 240 successful real estate and yacht projects, including the launch of his successful series of Kokomo sailing yachts.
