Yesterday we asked you for information on a superyacht that was unfamiliar to us. Superyacht Ras was photographed last week in Krk Island, Rijeka, Croatia, but I could not identify her. Thanks to our readers, we have now identified her.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/142181/image/large-0b363e50067199093e53f708b56f5864.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/142164">Ras was built in 1985 by Dutch shipyard De Hoop, in Hardinxveld-Giessendam, to a design by De Vries Lentsch. The yacht's designer has confirmed this to us. We also learned that she was lengthened in 1999 from 28 metres to 30 meters. Her original name was Vagasto, and she later on became Poncho IV. Superyacht Ras identified as 1985 Dutch built 30 metre yacht

At SYT we follow superyachts around the world and sometimes we come across a photo of a superyacht which is unfamiliar to us. Such is the case with motor yacht Ras. The yacht was photographed last week in Krk Island, Rijeka, Croatia. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/142164/image/large-294c17196f38b516bcab707a4c74b2e1.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/142164">It looks as if the yacht is around 30 metres long, and judging by her stern waterline, it appears she has been lengthened at some point, probably to add a swim platform.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/142165/image/large-b89f8a0e4e6ad72eb04bf2dffa68103c.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/142165"><a href="mailto:info@superyachttimes.com?subject=Info%20on%20M/Y%20Ras">Please contact us</a> if you have any recent or historical information on Ras.
