Burgess has announced the sales of the 78m superyacht Eminence and the 58m superyacht J'Ade following the sale of 65m Galactica Star last week.

Factors such as seasons and weather patterns play a large part in the creation of an adventure to visit the best destinations at the ideal time, this will maximise the owner's enjoyment in the region. Of course, it's not only the weather that plays a role in trip planning - the needs and goals of the guests are the overriding focus when it comes to deciding on locations.Some guests prefer to focus on marine activities, others on seclusion and privacy, some owners want to climb volcanoes and others might bring a support yacht to maximise opportunities to spend exciting days in Indonesia’s prime fishing grounds. Although scuba diving is often one of the top activities for clients in Indonesia, not every visitor is a scuba diver. Knowing the best dive sites in a location is certainly a benefit, but having an in-depth knowledge of all regional attractions is a fundamental necessity.&nbsp;Plans on board change regularly so anticipating the needs of an owner is of utmost importance. The key requirement to ensure the guide is of benefit to the yacht is working with the captain to create a handful of different activity options each day. Snorkelling on a hidden reef, visiting a local weaving village trekking through rainforests, kayaking around beautiful karst islands, wakeboarding, or spending a lazy day on a secluded beach are a few of the many options during a superyacht cruising experience in Indonesia.<img src="/uploads/store/photo/31418/image/large-441bb6325c20135150951c948d9261f3.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/31418">The 67.75-metre Archimedes in Raja Ampat&nbsp; On a daily basis, the role of the guide is to provide a list of interesting activities to the captain, who in turn relays these possibilities to the owner: this is where having a truly experienced guide is important. &nbsp;Having a backup list of activities available in a certain location is key, in case the initial planned activity isn't feasible.&nbsp;Although many other activities are available, diving is often the biggest attraction for many visitors. The world famous marine parks of Raja Ampat and Komodo are just the tips of the iceberg of Indonesian diving. It’s important to have a guide who is experienced in diving many different areas, as the conditions can be tricky. Many of the best dives in the country are current dependent and should not be attempted without a guide familiar with the sites. In parts of West Papua, for example, the village ‘property’ extends several miles into the ocean and so a visiting vessel is essentially anchoring on the village’s back yard. As such a calm and friendly guide must visit the village elders to explain the purpose of the visit, perhaps offering gifts such as school books, footballs or rice and fuel to the village. The Lürssen superyacht TV in Portofino

The circumnavigation of the globe is a voyage only a handful of yachts have undertaken. Many yachts, for various reasons, prefer the safety and peace of mind that comes with lingering around the Mediterranean and Caribbean Seas as the seasons change. For the owner of the 78.5-metre TV, this was not an option as the Lürssen-built yacht travelled from Pacific to Pacific over the last 12 months. This is the story of her adventures along the way.

With Captain Chris Kennedy at the helm, TV’s voyage started in 2015 at the bottom end of our planet. “After a rigorous 2015 season that brought us to the South Pacific Ocean doing the whole French Polynesian region to The Atolls of Marshall Islands,” he starts, “M/Y TV came to the Philippines for the crew to rest and for everyone to get a break over the Christmas holidays. We docked in the Freeport Zone of Subic Bay to wait for what 2016 will bring us.”

And what a year it would be. The next 12 months would see the successful charter yacht visit untouched regions of the world all the while finding time to blend in with the mundane yacht crowds outside St Tropez and Capri.

TV’s engines kicked into gear in March last year after a well-deserved break when Kennedy set course for Palau. Here TV spent time off the main island of Koror diving the World War II wrecks that litter the seabed in this region and cruised all the way to the outer islands of Peleliu in the archipelago.

Perfectly equipped to cater for adventure-seeking SCUBA divers, the underwater action continued in April where TV cruised to the Tubattah reef, a UNESCO Heritage site in the Philippines, on the hunt for Mata rays, Hammerhead sharks and other large ocean creatures.

The following two months were spent in search of a new remote beach each day, exploring the hidden lagoons of El Nido in Palawan and diving the famous Barracuda Lake in the Coron Islands where the water temperature increases as one dives deeper.

In June TV weighed anchor and headed for the Mediterranean via the Maldives, Somalia and the Red Sea.

The months of July and August were spent visiting European hotspots such as Sardinia, the Amalfi Coast, Monaco and Marseilles.

TV arrived in Fort Lauderdale just days before the start of the annual Boat Show in November in the yachting capital where she formed one of the star attractions. The yacht was hauled out of the water shortly after to receive a quick new hull bottom coating.

It wasn’t long before TV was on the move again. Heading west through the Panama Canal, she picked up her guests in Panama City for what would become an unforgettable Christmas and New Year’s trip. From here TV cruised to the island of Malpelo, situated 300 miles off the coast of Colombia.

Her final destination was that of the isolated Cocos Island off Costa Rica.

The world’s largest outdoor boat show kicked off yesterday where hundreds of new and brokerage yachts are on display this week in the Sunshine State. The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show runs until Monday 7th November.

With five deliveries in 2008 Lürssen has had one of it's busiest years. The 155m Al Said, 70m Martha Ann, 60m Vive la Vie, 110m Dilbar and 78m Madsummer, all left the yard for their cruising grounds. 2009 will see three deliveries of yachts between 60 and 110m. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/127042/image/large-954af22de7fedecb6781b8a05618cc50.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/127042">Arkley is a 60m superyacht and delivery is planned in June 2009. The exterior design is by Espen Oeino and the interior by Mark Berryman. The interior design is a combination of a modern but also very classic style which is carried throughout the whole yacht. Lürssen to deliver three superyachts in 2009

The Weaver Price designed limo tender has been launched in Rhode Island for sea trials. Amongst the new projects to be delivered are: <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/123807/image/large-7935a4f186c7cee0add75f2750c6ecfe.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/123772"><a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/417">Martha Ann</a> (Project Shark), a 70 m yacht, which follows the design of <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/590">Apoise</a> and Saint Nicolas. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/123808/image/large-bd7a6b566e1c0a15ab35d763d45cabca.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/123808"><a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/114">Bounty Hunter</a>, a 60 m yacht with an interior, designed by Artline. She will be delivered in summer 2008. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/123809/image/large-0d19b70d761e7ebfde234ac5e5dadd34.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/123809"><a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/10">Bermuda</a>, a 77 m yacht, designed by Espen Oeino and with a very special interior design by Alberto Pinto, will see its delivery in the fall of 2008.
