CRN will be featured as never before at the upcoming season’s boat shows. The shipyard of the Ferretti Group, specialised in the construction of mega-yachts in steel and aluminium, as well as composite materials, will be taking part in the three shows that open the season, held in Cannes, Monaco and Genoa, as four ships representative of the company’s full custom and semi-custom lines make their debuts. At the first of the mega-yacht shows, the Festival International de la Plaisance (10-15 September) in Cannes, the ship “<a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/913">Sima</a>”, the latest hull turned out in CRN’s 128’ semi-custom composite line, will be opened to visitors. At 40 metres in length, the vessel comes with three covered decks, a one-of-its-kind external layout and internal furnishings of refined design. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/125214/image/large-8402b06ec7a529a4b57b24c652db4776.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/125214">The distinct, unmistakable personality of “Sima”, a ship capable of housing 12 passengers and 8 crew members, is further highlighted by the decision to use the creations of the prestigious Fendi brand to add further lustre to the spaces of greatest allure. The sofas, the overstuffed chairs and the coffee table in the main lounge, all designed by the renowned fashion firm, are made from leather in shades of ivory and moor’s head, creating an excellent contrast with the muted hues of the drapes and cushions. Equally exclusive is the pony-skin rug used in this area, one of the new items introduced in the latest Limited Edition collection. The inlays of the Fendi collection are also found in the dining room and in the finishing work of the owner’s cabin. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/125215/image/large-990bfe93da2e02215c4362434ec6e4a0.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/125215"> <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/125216/image/large-5c69f1d64006e9d8344081b0578c3383.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/125216">CRN’s impact at the Monaco Yacht Show (24-27 September), the single most important event for large-size pleasure yachts, also promises to be exceptional. On display from the shipyard will be the two latest mega-yachts constructed in steel and aluminium: the 54-metre “<a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/110">Maraya</a>” and the 57-metre “<a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/312">Romance</a>”. Though the vessels could hardly be more different in terms of style –“Maraya” is minimalist and modern, while “Romance” is regally baroque – they are both highly sophisticated and complex, painstakingly designed down to the smallest detail, in order to bring to life the owners’ most intimate desires. Placed next to each other, the vessels resemble the two poles of a single glamorous, enthralling universe. Both ships can accommodate 12 guests and 10 crew members. These two seagoing jewels are the most fitting examples of the eclectic scope of the shipyard’s production activities and of its capacity to interpret different cultures and wishes, though always at the level of quality, refinement and customisation that has won CRN vessels their fame. “Maraya”, with the refined elegance of its streamlined design, is the shipyard’s first mega-yacht to make use of a lighting system operated entirely with fibre optics and LED. This innovative decision fits right in with the concept of harmony and modernity that characterises the vessel. Another distinctive feature of the ship is the balcony of the owner’s suite, designed as a platform that extends directly over the sea, thanks to a hatch which can be lowered 90 degrees and furnished with a table and chairs for breakfast. In contrast, the monumental, aristocratic “Romance” is set apart by the quantities and varieties of the sumptuous materials used, all of them rigorously inspired by the splendour of the Baroque style. Certain features are absolutely unique, such as the pool on the sundeck, which includes an opposing current setting for treadmill swimming, or the fitness area, which comes with a Turkish bath, sauna and massage room, not to mention the wood fireplace in the lounge of the upper deck. Those fortunate enough to be guests on the “Romance” can admire the striking Swarovski decorations, such as the grand “custom” chandelier in the dining room, or the ceiling treatment of crystals in the owner’s cabin, not to mention the exquisite block of Egyptian alabaster, the last of its kind on the market, used to line the owner’s bathroom. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/125217/image/large-648f7efe1b42a245bf8557d58a31f401.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/125217">The crowning exhibit of CRN ships will take place at the Genoa Boat Show (4-12 October), where the mega-yacht “<a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/1378">Hana</a>” will be on display. “Hana” is the second hull of the highly successful CRN 43 semi-custom composite line. A discrete, delicate design touch can be found throughout “Hana”, whose style is modern but never minimalist, linear without being classic or spare. Thanks to its large external volumes, this displacement model maxi-yacht, ideal for long, comfortable cruises, can hold 11 passengers and 9 crew members. The ship’s features are completed by the owner’s balcony and the Technogym workout room, and its every decorative feature is further enhanced by the large amount of light channelled into the three covered decks. The external lines of all four of these mega-yachts were designed by the CRN technical staff, working in collaboration with the Studio Zuccon International Project firm, while the onboard interior decoration and design of the “Maraya” and the “Hana” were carried out with the invaluable contribution of the interior designers of the Claude Missir Agency.

Forty metres in length, three covered decks, a distinctive external layout and internal furnishings and fittings of exquisitely sophisticated design: a quick inspection is enough to bring to light the soul of the new CRN 128’. <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/913">Sima</a> is hull number four in the highly successful line of planing yachts made from composite materials built by the CRN shipyard, in collaboration with Zuccon International Project.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/122742/image/large-0fd6ed397b4108d29b05b8fa6f5109eb.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/122742"> <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/913">Sima</a> is a vessel of understated yet sumptuous allure: a ship in which the personality of the client, who had the final say in every decorating choice, can be found throughout the structure. A single, unmistakable design approach characterises the stylistic touches, which draw their inspiration from a strictly “Made in Italy” decor, combined with designer products turned out by the leading international brands. Modernity takes on an air of luxury in this ship, which can already point to two international prizes: the prestigious “European Yacht Trophy” and the “Show Boats Award”. The modern yet classically balanced approach is present throughout the main deck of <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/913">Sima</a>, where simplicity is transformed into refinement, but without ever appearing barren or minimalist. Coming before the entryway to the main deck is an extensive stern cockpit, used as a relaxation zone and equipped with comfortable rattan couches by Dedon. On the other side of a sliding door, guests find themselves in a second, conversation area. A two-tone colour scheme dominates the lounge of the main deck, an ideal setting for the more formal moments aboard. The sofas, upholstered chairs and lounge table, all designed by Fendi, are made with ivory and black leather, linking, through contrast, with the muted hues of the curtains and upholstery. <div align="center"><img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/122743/image/large-e1e785a025702dcde66be8ee48b85aa9.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/122743"></div> Adjoining to the lounge is the dining room, built to host parties of up to ten and furnished with a glass oval table custom made for his vessel by master craftsmen. Exquisitely crafted, innovative chairs made with light-hued leather belong to one of the superb Cassina collections, while the fabric lampshade also features an extraordinarily modern design. The crowning feature of this area is the “magic mirror”, a working television set which, when turned off, transforms itself into a mirror framed in elegant polished leather. Black cherry wood is used throughout the vessel, alternating with madrona burl as the materials employed on furniture surfaces, while all the ceilings are panelled in an ivory hue, reprising the two-colour theme. The parquet in the day zone of the main deck is iroko, framed by a perimeter of polished steel with a vengè border. Moving towards the bow, a pantry on the left leads to a galley equipped for the creating haute cuisine, while the owner’s suite is preceded by a private study with a roomy couch and a desk. The owner’s cabin, which fills the entire width of the ship, once again features the dark leathers of Fendi, found on the headboard and in a number of the finishing touches. The decorative scheme follows the chromatic dialogue of the day zone, while the owner’s suite provides a foretaste of the other major design theme aboard the <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/913">Sima</a>, as colour takes charge, with blue making a bold appearance amidst the delicate shades of the bedspread, symbol of a refined but never ostentatious luxury. The theme of the sea colours finds its natural continuation in the shipowner’s bathroom, a facility exquisitely lined with a combination of antiqued sea-blue Bahia and afion marble and designed with a double entryway and a regal shower installation featuring rounded forms. The layout of this elegant maritime jewel comes with a lower deck that holds the night zone for the guests and the crew, together with a dinette and three cabins. A total of 12 passengers and 8 crew members can be comfortably lodged on Sima. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/122744/image/large-72760efacb8428bcae6806d091635047.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/122744"> The light-hued tones of ivory, green, sky blue, grey and cream are also found in the two VIP cabins with double beds, as well as in the two double cabins with twin beds, all set aside for the owner’s guest and each equipped with its own wardrobe closet and private bathroom. A fifth VIP cabin is located on the upper deck, behind the wheelhouse. The lone burst of colour is the red of one of the two cabins with the twin beds. Found in the rear portion of the lower deck is the engine room, where two MTU 12V 4000 M90 engines drive the vessel at a maximum speed of 24 knots and a cruising speed of 20 knots. Further aft is the garage. Designed with side openings and lined with slats of teak, it holds a Castoldi R15 Jet tender, while a second Arimar 320 tender is stored in a separate covered space in the forward portion of the main deck, equipped with electronic control of the hydraulic opening mechanism. A totally innovative feature is the internal rotary mechanism that opens the side hatches, making it possible to utilise the full width of the structure, while transforming the area into a highly functional beach platform perched just above the water. The upper deck is reached by taking a stairway that leads from the lounge of the main deck directly to the sky lounge on the main deck. Here guests will find a zone outfitted for complete relaxation, complete with a corner bar. The area is also equipped with a 42” fold-away plasma-screen TV housed inside of a finished cabinet. The cool, well-lit panoramic lounge features a full range of delicate shades of natural linen and blue. Three comfortable sofas, part of the latest Mex collection by Cassina, are gathered round a set of crystal cocktail tables, also made by the prestigious Milanese designer. A veritable continuation of the upper deck’s external cockpit, the sky lounge has a colour scheme that matches that of the open-air relaxation zone. A terrace facing onto the sea is outfitted with a bar and a large table, where guests can dine in comfort before or after relaxing on comfortable couches done in a matching blue. Further towards the bow, on the upper deck, is the pilothouse, equipped with all the latest instruments, as well as a small couch from which to observe the Captain’s manoeuvres in comfort. Stairs lead from the external cockpit of the upper deck to the sun deck. This extensive space, all of it set aside for fitness and relaxation, is also equipped with a second corner bar and a table seating eight. The 4th CRN 128 Sima

The fourth CRN 128’ composite line was launched on February 26th at the CRN shipyard. Baptised <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/913">Sima</a> by the owner, the vessel slid into the water clad in the refined elegance of its blue composite hull. <img src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/122058/image/large-0b132d150e088a730f2a7eeca9d4cd8c.jpg" alt="" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/122058">A ceremony was held to lauch this vessel, involving more than the breaking of a mere bottle of high-class champagne: at the request of the owner, the <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/913">Sima</a> entered the seawater after being christened in delicately fragrant rose water delivered especially for the occasion. A representative of the owner attended the thrilling launch, together with the CRN staff, always on hand for the ceremony that represents the crowning moment of a building process which began several months earlier. <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/913"> Sima</a>, a maxi planing yacht measuring 40 metres, is part of a semi-custom line that has already earned two international awards: the prestigious “European Yacht Trophies” award bestowed by Yachts magazine and the award for “Best New Semi-Production Series” by “ShowBoats Awards”. The result of a successful joint effort by the technical staff of CRN and the Zuccon International Project firm, the CRN 128’ comes with features unique to the world of pleasure yachts. A majestic, one-of-its-kind layout with three covered decks and an innovative tender garage outfitted with side openings sets this line of vessels apart from other composite yachts of similar size. Onboard living convenience and comfort blend in perfectly with the top-flight performance of a planing line able to cruise at a maximum speed of 24 knots and a cruising speed of 20 knots. Elegant and dynamic, the <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/913">Sima</a> has a beam of nearly eight metres and it can easily accommodate up to twelve passengers and eight crew members. The launching provides further evidence of the continued excellence and growth of the shipyard, now engaged exclusively in the construction of three-deck pleasure craft measuring over 40 metres in length. As a multi-brand production centre of the Ferretti Group, the Ancona shipyard is used to build not only maxi composite yachts and steel mega-yachts under the CRN brand name, but also Custom Line and Riva vessels for a total of 22 megayacts currently under construction simoultaneusly. The day was a very special one for CRN, which, apart from the launching, is also engaged in the complex operation of moving the new CRN 43, the third maxi-yacht of the line, plus the <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/YachtModel/423">Riva 115</a>’, both of which shall be outfitted and completed at the Ancona shipyard.
