The superyacht offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in six staterooms, with notable features including the owner's panoramic sky lounge suite and a VIP suite with a private balcony. Superyacht Netanya 8 in Cannes, France

Netanya 8 was launched in 2007 by French shipyard CMN as the first hull in a series of three sister ships. She features a recognizable Andrew Winch Design identical to those of the 60-metre superyachts Slipstream and Ice Angel (ex Cloud 9). With a volume in excess of 1020 GT, she offers a generous interior for guests. She features an Owner’s suite, a VIP stateroom with a private balcony on port side along with five guest cabins. Netanya 8 is powered by twin Caterpillar 3516 diesel engines. The yacht was seen spending time on the French Riviera earlier this summer.

The 119 metre Blohm &amp; Voss built superyacht A is currently hauled out at Palumbo Shipyard where the entire yacht will be covered and prepared for a new coat of paint. Other routine maintenance works will be performed over the winter period. The 74 metre CRN superyacht Yalla and 78 metre Royal Denship Pegasus VIII too made use of the yard’s facilities and expertise recently. The Palumbo Group acquired the Malta Superyacht Facilities in March 2011. The yard is currently fully in operation, carrying out over 30 superyacht projects in only a few weeks. The already extensive portfolio shows well-known names such as Atlantis II, Pelorus, Phocea, Prince Abdulaziz, Senses and Slipstream. By September 2011, Palumbo Malta Superyachts will offer a range of services, including a showroom displaying several yachting products, and also its refit and repair services, which allow for engine overhaul, furnishing and woodwork tapestry for an extensive type of yachts, also accounting for the fibreglass smaller boats. In fact, the yard is planning to have a separate open air area for smaller yachts, ranging between 18m to 48m with a maximum 300 DWT. This area will have a slipway and will be equipped with a syncrolift and a Self Propelled Modular Transporter (SPMT) able to transport yachts up to 300DWT. The 60m M/Y Cloud 9 was launched at the CMN shipyard (France) on Thursday May 7th 2009. Cloud 9 is the third unit of the CMN Line 60, developed by CMN in cooperation with Andrew Winch Designs. CMN Yachts launches 60m superyacht Cloud 9

On Tuesday March 3 the 60 metre superyacht Slipstream rolled out the CMN shipyard in Cherbourg and a few days later she hit the water for the first time. Slipstream is the biggest ever superyacht launched by the French shipyard and following the launch of Netanya 8 last year she is the second motor yacht in the new line of CMN. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/126942/image/large-051dc48eaebe22467aab335a6024f837.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/126942">Both the interior and exterior of Slipstream were designed by Andrew Winch and the build was managed by the new construction team of Burgess. CMN launches 60m Andrew Winch designed Slipstream

After the launching of the 58m (190ft) Netanya 8 in February 2007, CMN has developed a new range of motor yachts, the CMN Line 60 with three units in construction: Slipstream, Cloud 9 and Project 803. The Motor Yachts have been studied in cooperation with the designer Andrew Winch. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/126057/image/large-f485f6fc4c1631a9e6bef5425beaf7b2.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/126057">The yachts can comfortably accommodate an Owner’s party of up to twelve guests. The Owners’ full beam duplex stateroom includes an office, his and her bathrooms, separate dressing rooms and stairs up to a raised private observation lounge giving panoramic views forward. A VIP cabin with a private balcony is located on bridge deck. Slipstream has been modified to suit the Owner’s particular requirements. A panoramic dining room has been added aft of the bridge deck lounge. A strong visual impact will be the vertical windows for the wheelhouse and the panoramic lounge of the Owner’s suite. The yacht will have a dramatic appearance that will separate her from others in the series, due to the hull being in black with silver-grey superstructure. Sharing the same arrangement as Slipstream, Cloud 9 will have a unique customisation of the interiors. Construction of Project 803 has started. Delivery is scheduled for 2011.

CMN presents the Line 60 range of motor yachts

The order book for CMN Yachts in Cherbourg is looking very fit indeed with no less than three 58m yachts in various stages of production. All three share the same basic steel hull form and bulkhead arrangement but with customisation of the interiors and styling changes to the exterior deck spaces and aluminium alloy superstructure they may well look very different from each other when they enter service.Currently each offers features that include an owner’s suite with a panoramic lounge,a VIP suite with a private terrace on the bridge deck and four further guest cabins plus a fifth staff cabin,which can double as a gymnasium. With interiors by Andrew Winch Designs (below),the yacht is at the most advanced stage of construction, <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/124">New Bermie</a>,has the gymnasium option,an air-conditioned glazed area on the bridge deck. Two Caterpillar 3516B engines will give a top speed of 15.5 knots or a cruising speed of 12 knots with a 5,000nm range,and Quantum Zero Speed stabilisers will provide confort. Built to class as a charter yacht in accordance with Bureau Veritas rules,the yacht will also be fully compliant with SOLAS. Crew quarters comprise a captain’s cabin on the bridge deck and an engineer’s cabin and six double cabins, all en suite, plus crew mess and laundry on the lower deck. The second yacht of the same series is Project 801, <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/125">Slipstream</a>, which has been modified to suit the owner’s particular requirements with vertical windows used for the bridge and the panoramic private lounge of the owner’s suite for strong visual impact. Bulwarks at the forward end of the main deck have been reduced in height to increase visibility. A black hull and silver-grey superstructure will add to her dramatic and unique appearance. The third yacht, <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/319">Project 802</a>, is in the design stage and is expected to be delivered in late 2008. <noscript></noscript>
