Together with <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/374" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="SanLorenzo (Company)">Sanlorenzo</a>, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1011" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Simpson Marine (Company)">Simpson Marine</a> has delivered its first Sanlorenzo Sl 102 Asymmetric yacht to Asian waters this month as motor yacht <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/7221" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="The Maggie31.1m (102'0&quot;)SanLorenzo2019">The Maggie</a> arrived in Singapore. The project, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Article/48266" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Simpson Marine receives order for new 31m Sanlorenzo superyacht (2018-03-19 13:30:00 +0100)">sold</a> in an in-house deal with Sanlorenzo Asia Sales Manager Nick Stratton in 2018, will be based in Singapore and is expected to cruise throughout Southeast Asia.&nbsp;<img src="/uploads/store/photo/92643/image/large-07c90012c1085b057c43db2e0501d77a.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/92643"><img src="/uploads/store/photo/92645/image/large-e3d099d986f9f348a3ea6051d7a08872.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/92645">First unveiled during the 2018 Cannes Yachting Festival, the SL102 is <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/374" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="SanLorenzo (Company)">Sanlorenzo’s</a> first asymmetrical yacht, featuring a unique layout characterised by a single main side deck on the starboard side, enabling designers to extend the main deck interior all the way outboard to the hull and superstructure limits. The project’s layout was conceived by car designer Chris Bangle and it was up to <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/374" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="SanLorenzo (Company)">Sanlorenzo’s</a> team of designers as well as Bernardo and Martina Zuccon of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/105" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Zuccon International Project (Company)">Zuccon International Project</a> to realise the initial plans into a fully developed motor yacht.<img src="/uploads/store/photo/47240/image/large-b14899609b4e457187dc6274a07e5b2e.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/47240">"A new yacht arriving is always an exciting day for all involved and especially so in the case of the first SL102 Asymmetric. During an exclusive press conference held at Sanlorenzo’s superyacht shipyard in La Spezia on Sunday, a new model to the Italian builder’s SL line-up was announced by CEO, Massimo Perotti. The SL102 will be Sanlorenzo’s first asymmetrical yacht, featuring a unique layout characterised by a single main side deck on the starboard side, enabling designers to extend the main deck interior all the way outboard to the hull and superstructure limits.&nbsp;<img src="/uploads/store/photo/34359/image/large-2cbbda0907b13b5e0b2465bb5578702b.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/34359">The project’s layout was conceived by car designer Chris Bangle and it was up to Sanlorenzo’s team of designers as well as Bernardo and Martina Zuccon of Zuccon International Project to realise the initial plans into a fully developed motor yacht. Clearly carrying the Sanlorenzo identity, the SL102 hides inside it a layout that will be new to anyone familiar with the brand. “The real challenge was not to change the history and tradition of Sanlorenzo by making a mark, but to respect the strong image of the brand and its yachts, innovating without losing its identity,” comments Bernardo.<img src="/uploads/store/photo/34366/image/large-33d7db738cc4268cc784b62c91ac1be0.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/34366">The master suite located on the main deck forward, which is now semi full-beam, will have direct access to the foredeck area which becomes an extension of the private owner’s apartment. Alternatively, a second layout devised especially for the American market will have a family-sized galley in this part of the yacht which too will lead out onto the forepeak. These two different layouts will come with a four-cabin layout on the lower deck, either with four guest suites or in the case of the American layout, a large master suite and three guest cabins.&nbsp;<img src="/uploads/store/photo/34360/image/large-8747b774c11aa0576ea8fd58738675b6.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/34360">Another interesting feature is the full height main saloon window which is protected by a sliding bulwark when underway. When at anchor, the hull essentially slides down and reveals full visibility to the outdoors. Sanlorenzo introduces new SL102 Asymmetric model

Simpson Marine has today announced the sale of a new 31-metre Sanlorenzo GRP model. Though details of the yacht are still being kept secret, for now, the model designed by Zuccon International Project is expected to be unveiled at the 2018 edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.&nbsp;<img src="/uploads/store/photo/7145/image/large-287bbaa2f5836eb0581b471795627ca9.JPG" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/7145"> “Momentum with Sanlorenzo is building rapidly throughout the Asia Pacific, which is no surprise as it was simply a matter of time for clients to recognise the leap in quality and craftsmanship that comes with a Sanlorenzo Yacht. We are finding that the brand appeals to experienced yacht owners wanting a beautiful yacht but also a reliable one designed as they want it and built to stand the harsher environments of Asia. The appeal of the three unique lines in the yacht class &gt;126ft, SD, SL and SX mean there is a yacht suitable for all requirements,” says Nick Stratton, Sanlorenzo Asia Sales Manager.Upon completion, the yacht will head to Singapore in early 2019 for an Asian premiere at the Singapore Yacht Show 2019.&nbsp;
