Delivered in 2009 by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/64" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Oceanco (Company)">Oceanco</a>, the 2,822 GT yacht takes her name from the motto of her owner's company and sports a supercar-influenced profile by Nuvolari Lenard, with naval architecture designed by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/64" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Oceanco (Company)">Oceanco</a> and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/37" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Azure Yacht Design & Naval Architecture (Company)">Azure Yacht Design</a>. Her interiors were also created by the Italian studio in close collaboration with her experienced owner. Her decks are centred around a large aft pool and generous lounging areas, with a helipad forward and an expansive sundeck offering open-air dining, bar and Jacuzzi. Inside, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/100" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Vibrant Curiosity85.47m (280'5&quot;)Oceanco2009">Vibrant Curiosity</a> is arranged to accommodate up to 18 guests in seven staterooms. Oceanco has announced that Alewijnse has joined the Oceanco Group, following the acquisition of the company by Oceanco’s new shareholder, Gabe Newell.

Oceanco's 85-metre superyacht Vibrant Curiosity lying in Auckland, New Zealand

The 85-metre Vibrant Curiosity was launched in 2009 as Oceanco’s third yacht of its Y700 generation. Project name Y704 was designed by Nuvolari Lenard with naval architecture provided by Oceanco’s in-house engineering team in coorporation with Azure Naval Architecture. After an extensive cruise reaching destinations such as the Baltics, the west coast of the States and as far north as Alaska, Vibrant Curiosity returned to the Oceanco shipyard in 2015 for a maintenance period. She is currently in New Zealand and is captured here in Auckland’s Silo Marina.

Superyacht St. Princess Olga in Cap-Martin, France

The 85.6 metre Oceanco St. Princess Olga was known as project Y708 during her build, and delivered in early 2013 to her owner. Her recognisable exterior lines were drawn by Igor Lobanov, and event though based on the same platform as shared with other yachts in Oceanco’s Y700 generation, her white hull and futuristic superstructure is what sets her apart from her sisters such as Alfa Nero, Vibrant Curiosity and Sunrays. She features a modern interior by the late Alberto Pinto. Little information is known about this ultra-private yacht and has become a rare sight around the Med. Her she was captured anchored outside Monaco last month off Plage de La Buse in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, France.

The 85.47 metre superyacht Vibrant Curiosity has arrived at the Dutch shipyard Oceanco for her annual pre-season preparation and maintenance works prior to her summer travels. Completed by Oceanco in 2009, she features naval architecture by Azure Naval Architects in collaboration with the Oceanco team, with exterior and interior design by Nuvolari &amp; Lenard.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/153570/image/large-c9a319a32b84b88d8417d22cda2ef5dd.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/153570">The shipyard comments on her return, stating, “It is always a pleasure for us to welcome one of our own back home and we are also delighted to have the captain and crew back with us for a visit. The Top 100 largest superyachts in the world

We take a closer look at the ten largest superyachts ever built in the Netherlands, with the largest being 99 metres long. Only three yards make up for the top 10 (or we should say top 12, because there are two yachts in the list with the same length). Oceanco takes the lead, with 6 of their yachts making their way into the Top 10, followed by Feadship with 4 deliveries. She was launched as Al Mirqab, one of the yachts owned by the Qatar royal family. In her days as Al Mirqab, she remained a highly private yacht. These days, Indian Empress is in the hands of an Indian owner, who made the yacht available for charter. She is regularly seen at Formula 1 events, which is no surprise, since her owner owns the Sahara Force India Formula One Team. Designed to perfection by Sam Sorgiovanni, Nirvana combines extraordinarily voluminous interiors with extensively spacious deck spaces. She features a vast aft deck complete with 7.5 metre counterflow pool and a large sunbed aft. The floor of the pool rises to create a huge deck for entertaining while forward in the main salon is a bar and exotic reptile house. As a member of the IGY Anchor Club Loyalty Program created by IGY Marinas, Vibrant Curiosity has been racking up points since January 2012 while docking at an IGY owned marina. When it came time to pay the agent services bill for lining up tours and other details at North Island Marina at Port McNeil, British Colombia, marina owner Steve Jackman suggested the fee be donated to YachtAid Global. Superyacht Vibrant Curiosity in Malmo, Sweden

In addition to a wealth of technical expertise, the Dutch company Azure Naval Architects now has its own team of in-house designers. The new department was established to better address the demand of clients who prefer to have technology and design carried out by a single company. After a most successful and enjoyable first cruising season in Norway and the Mediterranean, Vibrant Curiosity, Oceanco’s 85.47m 2009 delivery, has recently arrived at Oceanco’s yacht building facility in Alblasserdam, The Netherlands. The Oceanco Vibrant Curiosity

Last week the Alblasserdam based shipyard Oceanco launched the 85 metre Vibrant Curiosity, hull number Y704. Oceanco launches Vibrant Curiosity (Y704)

A few weeks ago we visited Shipyard Zwijnenburg where the hull of oceAnco’s Y704 was being build. Zwijnenburg is a commercial shipyard just a few minutes away from the finishing sheds of oceAnco. Zwijnenburg is one of the “co-makers” of oceAnco yachts. During our visit to oceAnco they explained that instead of working with subcontractors (who also work at other shipyards) they prefer to work with co-makers (who exclusively work for them). For Zwijnenburg this means they will only build hulls of yachts for oceAnco, but they will also continue their commercial shipbuilding. For the engineering of their huge projects oceAnco teamed up with Azure naval architects. The <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/100">Y704</a> is an 85m motor yacht with interior and exterior design by Nuvolari &amp; Lenard. After her hull and superstructure are finished she will be transported to oceAnco where she will be finished. Delivery is scheduled in the Spring of 2009.
