The world’s largest catamaran yachts

The 40.5-metre catamaran Zenith,&nbsp;listed for sale by Steve Doyle at Cambridge Yacht Group, has been sold.<img src="/uploads/store/photo/25479/image/large-29fe58813bd75e852afdaf91645a40cc.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/25479"> Sold to a direct client, the 40.5-metre catamaran was built in aluminium by the Australian yard Sabre Catamarans to a design by Incat Crowther and Waterline Yacht Design. Incat Crowther was responsible for the naval architecture and both the exterior and interior design were from the drawing boards of Waterline Yacht Design.&nbsp;On board, Zenith&nbsp;accommodates up to 10 guests across en-suite five cabins, including a full-beam master suite on the aft bridge deck with its own private deck, a twin cabin and a full-beam VIP suite, a double stateroom and another twin, located on the main deck forward. A crew of six is also accommodated for on board.&nbsp;With power provided by twin diesel MTU engines, with a combined output of 4962hp, Zenith&nbsp;has an impressive top speed of 29 knots and a cruising speed of 20 knots, with a range at cruising speed of 3500 nautical miles.&nbsp;At the time of sale, Zenith&nbsp;was asking $19,900,000.

40m Sabre catamaran motor yacht Zenith sold 

Incat Crowther has announced the launch of Zenith, a 40 metre Catamaran Motor Yacht constructed by Sabre Catamarans in Western Australia. The vessel is a result of a collaborative process whereby all partners brought their best ideas to the table. Incat Crowther performed naval architecture and engineering work on the vessel, whilst exterior design was supported by Waterline Design, who also designed the opulent interior. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/139873/image/large-06ea14568f58b73adb1288f7a1cb68df.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/139873">Incat Crowther worked closely with the designer to interpret the aesthetic features of the vessel and resolve the designer’s vision into workable, buildable structure. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/139874/image/large-84413057d12f1ada8123bdb8cfefccc9.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/139874">Zenith’s structure is all aluminium, and has been finished to a very high standard. Forward on the main deck are three large guest cabins, each featuring en suites, lounges and robes. 38 Metre superyacht catamaran Zenith launched

Incat Crowther has released images of a 38m Catamaran Motor Yacht under construction at Sabre Catamaran’s shipyard in Perth, WA. Incat Crowther releases images of a 38m catamaran superyacht

Incat Crowther has been commissioned to develop a new high speed catamaran motor yacht for an international businessman. The vessel will be capable of cruising at 25 knots and will have long range capabilities in excess of 3500nm. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/125421/image/large-f3277132115a4d0e7e89b6b6009d28c5.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/125421">The stylish new catamaran will be 37.50m in length, and with a 10.30m beam will provide plenty of large open deck space on a vessel that will be designed for long range cruising. The vessel will be powered by a pair of MTU 12V4000 M71 main engines driving fixed pitch propellers through a reverse/reduction ZF gearbox. The main running gear will be protected by an integrated skeg providing protection from grounding and other potential hazards. The interior of the vessel will be designed for entertaining and will feature an open plan lounge and dining area with large panoramic windows out the sides and looking aft. The main guest cabins are located forward and are accessed from a central entrance foyer complete with cloak room and guest bathroom facilities. Each guest cabin is fitted with two king sized single beds that can be quickly rearranged into a king sized double bed. In addition there are large wardrobes complete with baggage storage, large ensuite facilities and all cabins will feature the latest entertainment systems. A small gymnasium is located forward with direct access to the foredeck. The mid deck will feature a full width owner’s cabin with ensuite, walk in wardrobe, office, sitting room and direct access to a large private balcony. An extra guest cabin and captain’s cabin are positioned aft of an open wheelhouse which has been specifically designed for superior sightseeing with large vertical windows and comfortable guest seating. A Portuguese style foredeck has been incorporated into the design complete with forward facing lounges for a thrill ride or evening drinks as the sun sets over the horizon while sitting at anchor. A large fly bridge deck has been sparsely arranged with some seating, a BBQ area and lots of open space for relaxation. The vessel will be built at the West Australian shipyard of Sabre Catamarans, who have a strong history in the construction of high speed aluminium catamarans. The vessel owner was lead to Incat Crowther by their superior experience in catamaran design and the recent success of the MY Seafaris.
