The Fort-Lauderdale based brokerage house Merle Wood & Associates has announced the sale of the first Benetti Oasis 40M motor yacht with hull number BO101. With the yacht started on speculation by the yard and expected to be completed in 2020, John Jacobi from Merle Wood represented the buyer in the deal. 
Measuring 41.14 metres, this Benetti Oasis 40M motor yacht features exterior design by British studio RWD, in-house naval architecture and an interior by the New York studio Bonetti / Kozerski architecture DPC. 
Photo: Benetti YachtsPerformance-wise, the all-GRP 385 GT superyacht can reach a top speed of 16 knots and cruises at 12 knots, with a range of 4,000 nautical miles.

The Team Principal at RWD, Adrian Chisnell, explained the idea behind the new model: “We’ve revisited the classic concept of onboard life. Today's owners don’t use their boats in the same way as in the past. This yacht reflects a new more dynamic and less formal lifestyle for active, curious owners who don’t spend much time lying in the sun because they prefer to explore and enjoy the places they’ve just reached on their yacht.”

In particular, the beach area complete with an infinity pool located on the main deck and is only a few steps away from the sea. The high ceilings in her interior spaces, together with the unusual layout of the onboard spaces and the extensive use of natural light aim to increase her connection to the outside world.
Photo: Benetti YachtsThe interiors by Bonetti/Kozerski combine light coloured leather and rosewood in bright colourways to create the effect of a 'spacious loft', blending indoor and outdoor spaces. The main-deck master suite offers an expansive apartment, complete private balcony and marble bathroom.
