Pax Navi is a Turkish shipyard based in Bodrum and 75%, German-owned. They are currently building the 39-metre sailing yacht Clear Eyes and have just finished the refit of the 33-metre sailing yacht Blue Eyes.
Project manager and naval architect Erkin Yagci tells SYT, "we build and refit yachts to a high quality, with a speciality in Turkish wood craftsmanship, at reasonable prices." Pax Navi also has an in-house design department; "however," says Erkin, "we are also open to build steel and aluminium sailing and motor yachts up to 60 metres for other design studios."
Clear Eyes
Clear Eyes, currently under construction, is a tank tested steel hull with proven seaworthiness and will comply with ABS class and MCA LY2. The yacht is being built for a German owner who is planning to use the yacht privately, but also for the charter market when she is not in use.
The gulet styled yachts offer large interior and exterior samples and to increase her sailing performances the shipyard uses under-deck hidden cranes, flush deck hatches, captive winches and state of the art sailing equipment.
Blue Eyes
Sailing Yacht Blue Eyes is a perfect boat for charter, as well as private use. There are 5 spacious cabins, including 1 master and 4 double cabins all with en-suite facilities, a spacious saloon and large deck areas. This year Pax Navi completely refitted the yacht.
