What used to be a round, canoe-like aft has been replaced by a modern beach club, including a submersible swim platform that can effortlessly lower guests into the crystal clear waters. The details and renderings of the new 38-metre explorer yacht concept Elyar 38 have been unveiled. The design stems from a collaboration between the up-and-coming Italian design studio <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/8143" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="MiLa.b Yacht Design & Engineering (Company)">MiLa.b</a> and the Turkish shipyard <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/59" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Aegean Yacht (Company)">Aegean Yacht</a>. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/354251/image/large-1a7b095a82e2feb66430211147fa4061.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/354251">From the outside, Elyar 38’s exterior profile displays contemporary lines and balanced proportions, which are rounded off with expansive windows that bathe the interiors in plenty of natural light. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/354255/image/large-7e711511b212b2ddc492359fad03e94c.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/354255">Elyar 38’s sundeck is solely dedicated to socialising and relaxation, offering guests a generous dining arrangement comprising a large table flanked by comfortable seating. The superyacht is presented in two styles: an explorer version named Phobos and a navetta-style yacht named Deimos.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/326276/image/large-83bd4e18b9a356ee6951c2e376c56f0f.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/326276">Named after the moons of Mars to suggest the potential for long-range travel, Phobos is conceived as an explorer yacht, while Deimos, distinguished by its white livery, offers a more elegant navetta style.
