The concept of leadership and innovation has always been the core inspiration for Baglietto's activity since the day when, 170 years ago, the founder Pietro Baglietto decided to start building small hulls in his backyard. Since then, the brand has always been a pioneer in research and development, always one step ahead while also preserving traditions.
Baglietto can currently rely on 2 manufacturing sites. The La Spezia headquarters extends over 35,000sqm with three new sheds for the construction of yachts up to 65m, as well as new fully-equipped quays, to berth vessels of up to 70m. The operating unit in Carrara comprises 2 areas of 5,000sqm each, including 8 sheds in total, used for constructing yachts up to 50m and military crafts under the Baglietto Navy brand.
Since 2023, some Bertram Yachts lines are built at this shipyard for the European market, too.
Baglietto has branches in Fort Lauderdale (FL). Australia's Gold Coast, and representative offices in Brazil and the Dominican Republic to support strategic markets.
The shipyard, while still offering fully-custom manufacturing, is also developing a new product range to strengthen its position in the market, innovating while preserving tradition and craftsmanship and now offers 4 distinct product lines:
TLine: steel and aluminium traditional displacement yachts, pencilled by Francesco Paszkowski Design. At the moment. this line includes the successful T52 and T60 models.
FAST Line: High-performing, innovative yachts in aluminium alloy, designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design, featuring 42 m and 50 m (FAST50) models.
DOM Line: Aluminium cruisers designed by Stefano Vafiadis, including the 41 m DOM133, and the new 35 m entry-level DOM115.
X0 Line: long-range yachts, the new X50 introduces a new way of exploring and observing.
Currently, 22 vessels are under construction, with 17 sold, 5 are being built on speculation.
Baglietto has always had a strong focus on environmental issues and constantly reiterates its commitment towards product innovation, technological research and sustainability.
To this purpose BZero project was developed, an innovative system for hydrogen production from filtered, deionized sea water using electrolysers which are supplied by renewable energy sources, thereby allowing to produce truly green hydrogen.
The already existing prototype station will be used to meet part of the energy needs of the shipyard in 2025. Then, starting in 2026, the system will be ready to be installed on board Baglietto yachts.
