To celebrate Chinese New Year, we take a look at some of the coolest Chinese-built superyachts on the water today: Gong Xi Fa Cai! &nbsp;(Happy New Year!) Nero&nbsp;<img src="/uploads/store/photo/5649/image/large-1630a1b7f3ed16aa9ce1385232eb66c1.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/5649"> No list of awesome Chinese-built superyachts would be complete without mentioning the 90.1-metre modern replica superyacht, Nero&nbsp;built by Corsair Yachts and delivered in 2007.&nbsp;Nero’s timeless lines were inspired by the 1890s superyacht&nbsp;Corsair,&nbsp;which was&nbsp;commissioned by the American financier, banker and art collector, JP Morgan. Nero&nbsp;features classic interiors from Neil Taylor designs which hark back to her 1800s heritage. That said, Nero also boasts modern features, including a swimming pool, two VIP cabins with saloons, two custom tenders and a 5.5-metre side boarding platform ideal for diving, swimming and boarding the yacht. Qing&nbsp;<img src="/uploads/store/photo/16075/image/large-cd2d98f0d447168300c96c2276c3cda2.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/16075">Next up, it's Qing.&nbsp;Previously called Mazu,&nbsp;the 46-metre superyachtQing&nbsp;was built by the Chinese shipyard Cheoy Lee and launched in 2010. Sporting a distinctive red hull, Qing&nbsp;was the second of MCC's Marco Polo Transocean Explorer series and underwent an extensive refit in Brisbane last year at Rivergate Marina and Shipyard. Inside, King Baby&nbsp;features a rock and roll inspired interior by Evan K. With a gross tonnage of 363, Serenity&nbsp;boasts an enormous interior volume, bringing with it a great deal of versatility for her owner's use.&nbsp; Adastra&nbsp;&nbsp; <img src="/uploads/store/photo/7519/image/large-3f2d2dd49c0ec9ae63788d2615b15dce.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/7519"> Last, but certainly not least, is the eye-catching and futuristic multihull superyacht Adastra. Built in 2012 by McConaghy Boats, Shuttleworth Design in England is the team responsible for her space-like exterior, who designed the custom yacht to be built with a carbon fibre and Nomex honeycomb cockpit with a glass/Kevlar hull. Adastra has a cruising speed of 17 knots and can reach 22.5 knots as her top speed.

Arrival of the 40-metre superyacht No Bada Bees in Miami, Florida

IAG’s 40-metre superyacht No Bada Bees was launched in China in 2010 as Primadonna. No Bada Bees was IAG’s first yacht to be launched and made her debut at the Miami Yacht Show in 2011. Thanks to her smart layout, the 40-metre yacht can accommodate up to 12 guests and nine crew. The interior design was developed by the Italian company, YD&amp;AS using a linear and sophisticated scheme.

The IAG superyacht No Bada Bees arriving in Miami

SYT visited IAG Yachts’ shipyard in China in 2014 to witness the initial phases of construction of the 41 metre superyacht Serenity. The shipyard recently announced the launch of the vessel, which took place on 25th April 2016.

With a length of 41 metres and a beam of 8 metres, her internal volume is enormous, and brings with it a great deal of versatility for her the use of the yacht. The interior layout and materials selection of this yacht was customised as per the owner’s request.

This model is the Noblestar “Terrazza,” edition, notable for its fixed balconies fore and aft on two decks. This yacht is designed to be powered by twin diesel electric engines with a top speed of 18 knots, and a cruising speed of 15 knots. She has a range of over 3,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.

Exclusive: IAG Yachts launch 41m superyacht Serenity

We take a look at a selection of some of the newest yachts that have made their way to the 56th edition of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) taking place this week. She has now headed back south to Florida where she will be on display at FLIBS this year. The Dutch design company, Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design designed both the interior and exterior of ROCK.IT. She is attending the show as the yard’s largest yacht ever at just under 500 GT, and is constructed entirely from GRP. Measuring 31.09 metres, she has been constructed in steel and aluminium and will be officially presented to the industry for the first tome at the show. She features naval architecture and exterior design by Hydro Tec, and accommodates guests over a five cabin layout. Amongst her specific customisations for her Central American client is a lazarette equipped with a nitrox compressor for diving, as well as the doors in the large salon that are able to open completely.Ocean Alexander 100<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/156942/image/large-e3fe98db30ad0a42598442619567669e.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/156942">The second hull of Ocean Alexander’s OA 100 series will be on display at the show this year after revealing the first edition of the design at FLIBS 2014. The yacht was designed by Evan K. Marshall with chartering use in mind. eature a large galley, greatly enlarged crew area, as well as the addition of strategic storage space throughout the vessel. On the lower deck, the OA 100 offers a full-beam master stateroom arrangement with his-and-her heads, a forward VIP cabin, and two twin cabins, which can be transformed into double cabins. Ocean Alexander have optimized the yacht's exterior areas, creating a large partially covered sundeck. However, the vessel is also available with an enclosed skylounge arrangement.By Charl van Rooy

FLIBS Preview: Top 5 new yachts at the show

King Baby has a large interior volume which amounts to just under 500 GT. IAG Yachts delivers 41m superyacht King Baby

Built for an experienced yachtsman, the 141ft King Baby has been launched by the chinese shipyard, IAG Yachts. IAG Yachts launches superyacht King Baby

The IAG Shipyard has announced that they will be building a range of Warren Yachts, ranging from 23.5 metres to 36.57 metres in length, the S77, S87 and S120.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/150057/image/large-a903f1f1031ead568bcb89c0e2a627e8.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/150057">The hull design, performance, naval architecture, construction and engineering for all the Warren Yachts was done by Peter Lowe Designs. The earlier versions in the 70 to 75 foot range were styled by Sam Sorgiovanni which inspired design aspects of the S77 and S87. The Initial styling for the S87 was done by Dave Warren and Anthony Starr with both interior layouts by Anthony Starr. The S120 was styled by Anthony Starr with input from Dave. The interior was all Anthony Starr. The S77 was styling and interior by Anthony Starr. Dave Warren always was a strong influence on the styling and interiors of all the designs.Tom Walden, one half of the Ocean Independence dual sales broker team for the range, commented, “Warren Yachts will be building these sports cruisers at IAG Yachts in Zhuhai in southern China. Powered by 2 x CAT, MAN or MTU (1200-1800hp) engines, she will be capable of a maximum of 34 knots, with a cruising speed of 28 knots.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/150059/image/large-752e1415b609f69af427df21db56c87f.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/150059">The 26.36 metre S87 will accommodate eight guests over four cabins including a full beam master suite. Dependent on layout, a crew of up to four will be accommodated in one cabin.
