Following several unfortunate project cancellations, the company was forced to file for bankruptcy and the project was subsequently put on hold. <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4624" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Metalships & Docks S.A. (Company)">MetalShips</a> purchased the vessel in Spring 2015 and proceeded with construction following her sale.
