Constructed with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/2332" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="The Big Blue42.0m (137'10&quot;)Troy Marine2010">The Big Blue</a> features naval architecture and exterior design penned by her builder, while her interior comes from the drawing boards of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1612" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ugur Isik (Company)">Ugur Isik</a>, who also collaborated with the shipyard for the exterior lines. The 395 GT superyacht can accommodate 10 guests offering comfort and luxury across five staterooms. The explorer yacht is powered by twin 750 horsepower <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1450" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Volvo (Company)">Volvo</a> D16 MH diesel engines which provide the yacht with a top speed of 14 knots, cruising speed of 11 knots and a range of 3,500 nautical miles.

On 9th of January Troy Marine launched its largest project to date 42 meters Imbros. Successful seatrials for Troy Marine's superyacht Imbros

On January 9th the Istanbul based shipyard Troy Marine launched their first superyacht, the 42 metre Imbros. Troy Marine launches superyacht Imbros

The dynamic in-house design team Troy Design of Istanbul has revealed the latest renderings of their newest project, project Horizon. Based on a proven platform the vessel has huge interior spaces coupled with vast sunbathing areas and wide array of toys for the guests. The assymetrical main deck layout combined with a 9,8 beam creates enourmous living areas and spacious accomodation. Large windows sorround the superstructure, flooding the interior with natural light. Another key feature of this yacht are the two identical owner suites options on the upper deck for partial owners and charter flexibility. These are busy times for the growing Turkish shipyard Troy Marine, as their 42 mt. expedition vessel Imbros is soon to be launched. With all the outfitting and installation of systems completed, the yacht is expected to be launched in two months time, pending the final painting. Busy times at Turkish shipyard Troy Marine

To guarantee high quality construction and engineering, the skilled and experienced craftsmen and technical staff all have certificates. For the painting, joinery and furniture of the yachts internationally recognized sub-contractors are appointed.To meet construction demands in the future Troy Marine provides scholarship to successful students of major technical universities in Turkey.M/Y Imbros In December 2007 construction started of the first Troy Marine superyacht. The 42m adventure yacht Imbros is set for completion in 2009. Exterior styling and naval architecture is done by the in-house team, Troy Design. Four guest cabins, a full beam VIP cabin, two double cabins and a twin cabin, are located on the lower deck. The full beam owners suite is located on the forward part of the main deck and consists of an office, large walk-in-closet, bathroom with Jacuzzi (if requested) and bedroom with queen size bed.Imbros is ideal for outside entertaining with a huge sun deck, including a Jacuzzi and ample space for an array of sun loungers.
