Delivered in 2008 by Perini Navi, the 55.9-metre sailing yacht Bayesian has a beam of 11.51-metres and a draft of 9.73-metres.
Previously named Salute, Bayesian has an internal volume of 473 GT, and once boasted the tallest aluminium mast in the world at 75-metres.
Bayesian features exterior design by Perini Navi, while her interior was penned by Rémi Tessier, with naval architecture by Ron Holland Design.
Constructed with an aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure, Bayesian can accommodate up to 12 guests. She is powered by twin MTU engines, which give her a cruising speed of 13 knots and a top speed of 15.6 knots. Bayesien carries 50,000 litres of fuel onboard, and 12,400 liters of water.
She is the 19th-largest yacht built by Perini Navi. The owner of yacht Bayesian is shown in SYT iQ and is exclusively available to subscribers. According to data from our market intelligence system SYT iQ, she was one of the 518 yachts that were sold in 2014.
In August 2024, Bayesian was hit by a tornado storm and sank near Palermo. There are currently six people missing and one confirmed dead.
