	<p>Since unveiling its Vintage Series line of yachts in 2011 with the launch of the 42-metre <em>Magari</em>, Codecasa’s classic-inspired range of oceangoing vessels has become synonymous with the Italian shipyard. Since the first launch of the series, each unit has taken on a different form with a unique set of features. The latest addition to the line, launched in June 2016, is no different. We step onboard to take a closer look at the 43-metre <em>Gio Chi Thè</em>.</p>

	<p>Although each unique its own way, Codecasa’s Vintage Series each come with a high level of technology and modern features installed on board. This stands in contrast to the traditional style of the design of these cruisers, which formed the starting point of design for the entire line. With its defined lines and elegant proportions, several styling cues harchs back to the golden age of gentleman’s cruisers, echoed in the angled narrow bridge windows, straight bow design, and even the deep blue hull colour.</p>

	<p>But this is where the traditional charm ends. <em>Gio Chi Thè</em> is nothing but a modern, sophisticated superyacht designed for today’s discerning owner. Outdoor spaces are plentiful and generous, making her an ideal family getaway cruiser. The sun deck is equipped with a Jacuzzi that has been placed forward, providing a great view over the foredeck but also freeing up the remainder of the deck space with several built-in sunpads neatly arranged around the outside.</p>

	<p>A popular feature that was incorporated in the 50-metre version of the line was a Portuguese Deck with a liveable area for guests when at anchor or underway, and this has been transferred to <em>Gio Chi Thè</em> as well, which is regarded as a natural evolution of the Codecasa 42 in the same class.</p>

	<p>Thanks to the increased length on this particular unit of around half a metre in the stern area, <em>Gio Chi Thè</em> offers her crew a more comfortable working environment in the lazarette, especially with the tender stowed in position inside.</p>

	<p>The interior, by Tommaso Spadolini and the Codecasa team, is a continuation of the classic look of the exterior but with a fresh twist. A bright and beach-like environment welcomes guests as you enter the main saloon with a few colourful touches making this a very comfortable and homely space. Another noticeable feature are the larger windows across the entire ship in comparison to the Codecasa 42.</p>

	<p>As a Full Beam version, <em>Gio Chi Thè</em>’s master suite forward on the main deck benefits from a new layout that provides greater space in this part of the ship and a real on-sea experience with the side windows now the only thing separating you from the elements and views outside. The stylish owner’s apartment comes complete with a private office as you enter the suite. The suite itself is decorated with a slightly grander flair than the daily guest spaces, but still retaining that bright and airy ambience that runs throughout.</p>

	<p>A panoramic staircase, only possible as a result of the new Full Beam layout, takes you below deck to the guest accommodations. This deck is a symmetrical layout consisting of two VIP staterooms aft and two twin cabins forward, all finished in the same level of luxury with innovative lighting solutions creating a wonderfully light and crisp sleeping area.</p>

Superyacht of the Week: onboard Gio Chi Thè

<p>Launched in June earlier this year, the first Codecasa 43-<strong>metre</strong><strong> Full Beam edition in their Vintage Series is based on the shipyard’s proven Vintage platform designed by Tomaso Spadolini. Here we take a closer look inside the shipyard’s latest superyacht.</strong></p>

<p>Described as ‘a natural evolution’ of the yacht’s predecessor, the Codecasa 42, the first Full Beam version is extended by half a metre, adding valuable working space in the garage area at the stern.</p>

<p>Spadolini worked together with Codecasa’s in-house design team on the design and styling of the yacht’s interior. A soothing timeless interior with rich oak wood and soft coloured fabrics creates an elegant environment fit for daily use. Guests can choose between the main saloon or the more intimate skylounge for hosting visiting guests and family.</p>

<p>As the Codecasa 42 model featured a walk-around main deck, the Full Beam version’s master suite stretches the entire width of the hull as traffic from the main deck is diverted to the Portuguese deck above through side stairways. This added space allows for a private study to be incorporated in the owner’s cabin.</p>

<p>The sundeck layout has remained largely unchanged, with the open and uncluttered space now with an added Jacuzzi set forward on the deck.</p>

First Look: Codecasa’s newly launched Vintage 43 Full Beam

<p>Codecasa’s Hull F76 was launched today at their shipyard in Viareggio, Italy. The first Codecasa 43 metre Full Beam edition in their Vintage Series is based on the shipyard’s proven Vintage platform with Tomaso Spadolini working together with Codecasa’s in-house design team on the yacht’s interior.</p>

Codecasa launches 43m Full Beam Vintage Series

<p>Codecasa Shipyards has today released the latest renderings of the Codecasa 43 Vintage series superyacht, scheduled to be launched in just a few months in time for the summer cruising season. The Vintage series was originally introduced to the industry in 2011 with the first in the line being the 42 metre <em>Magari.</em></p><p style="text-align: center;"><img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/158255/image/large-e1ac1066251dff69d9c85bfd1015c90c.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/158255"></p><p>The Codecasa 43 is described by the yard as a natural evolution from her predecessor, the Codecasa 42. Lengthened by approximately half a metre in the aft area, the latest vessel offers an increasingly comfortable working and service area around the tender installed in the aft garage.</p><p>Her interiors come from the drawing boards of Tommaso Spadolini, who worked closely with the Codecasa team to develop her layout. Just some of the notable differences between the Codecasa 42 and 43 are found in the full beam owner’s suite. A crew of eight plus the captain are also accommodated for on board. Latest renderings of Codecasa 43 Vintage Series superyacht 

<p>The Monaco Yacht Show 2011 saw Codecasa Shipyards unveil their new Vintage Series through the exhibition of the first unit of the Codecasa 42 Vintage Series, Hull F73, to resounding success amongst industry fans and experts.</p><p>Two years later, that same success was strengthened through the launching of the sister-ship, Hull F75, completed in July 2013. Same as the previous Yacht and still fully representing the distinctive and identifying traits of the whole line, this hull was also inspired by a classic style and traditional lines in both exterior and interior design.</p><p>Confirming their strong confidence in this new line of Yachts, Codecasa Shipyards have planned the launching of the first unit of the new Codecasa 50 Vintage Series, Hull C121 in 2015, set to become the flagship of the whole series. This will be followed shortly after by the launch of the first unit of the new Codecasa 43 Full Beam Vintage Series, Hull F76, the design of which was developed starting from the platform of the Codecasa 42 – Vintage Series.</p><p>The new Codecasa 43 Full Beam, which is currently at the early stages of construction at the Codecasa Shipyard, will offer more comfortable working and service areas around the tender installed in the aft garage.</p><p style="text-align: center;"><img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/148072/image/large-e09c1e768365dc55af435c8873094210.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/148072"></p><p>The full beam layout of the owners suite, located forward on the main deck and featuring larger spaces than on these two units, enables the addition of a private office inside the owners apartment.</p><p>Codecasa 43 Full Beam will also include a cabin for the captain in direct contact with the bridge, larger and brighter hallways and a panoramic staircase that will connect the three interior decks.
