While the London-based design firm <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/161" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="H2 Yacht Design (Company)">H2 Yacht Design</a> may be best known for its work within the Turkish superyacht sector, having designed more than 30 yachts in the region, the company’s canon is varied in both design style and yacht type. Led by the inimitable Jonny Horsfield, whose frank, straight talking attitude has led to many close relationships with builders and clients, the studio is home to a deep level of expertise, with a team that specialise in some of the most detailed work found in the global fleet. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/308201/image/large-7f656666f3ac42ed60e82c2ef71ff971.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/308201">A automotive designer by training, Jonny found his place in yacht design in the late 80s somewhat by chance, cutting his teeth under Martin Francis – designer of the highly recognisable superyachts <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/11" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="A 119.0m (390'5&quot;)Blohm & Voss GmbH2008">Motor Yacht A</a>, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/5626" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Golden Odyssey123.2m (404'2&quot;)Lürssen Yachts2015">Golden Odyssey</a>&nbsp;and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/901" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Zeus74.5m (244'5&quot;)Blohm & Voss GmbH1991">ECO&nbsp;</a>(to name a few). Returning to London in the early-90s, he joined the team at Donald Starkey, alongside Pascale Reymond and Andy Langton, future founders of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/56" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Reymond Langton Design Ltd. (Company)">Reymond Langton Design</a>. Under Starkey, Jonny specialised in interior design, and he describes those years as “the best years of learning for my career.”When Starkey let the team go during the 1993 recession, Jonny and Steve Howard, another of Starkey’s team, decided to go it alone, utilising their experience and contacts gained under Don to pick up work within the Turkish refit market. Officially coining the company <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/161" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="H2 Yacht Design (Company)">H2 Yacht Design</a> (Horsfield and Howard being the two Hs), <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/206" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Yachting Partners International (Company)">Yachting Partners International</a> became a major advocate for the brand’s early success and the refit work was considerable. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/77954/image/large-842bee5b9290948276598155fd15d277.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/77954">“It was a different refit market back then, quick and somewhat dirty, but we learned a lot about costs, budgeting and about how to keep the client happy. The issue was that we really weren’t building a reputation in the new-build sector so changing that perspective took a lot of work.” By 2006 however, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/161" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="H2 Yacht Design (Company)">H2</a> landed its first new-build with the interior of Talisman C, now <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/373" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Talisman Maiton54.2m (177'10&quot;)Turquoise Yachts2006">Talisman Maiton</a>, at Proteksan, the shipyard that went on to become <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/224" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Turquoise Yachts (Company)">Turquoise</a>. Comparing the two boats Jonny explains, “when you look at her you think, that is a spaceship, but in a way her exterior was easier to design, because the brief was ‘do whatever you want, go wild’. Whereas for <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/6415" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Arrow74.98m (245'12&quot;)Feadship2020">Arrow</a> the brief was very particular and fairly conservative and that restriction can be challenging. In a way I am more proud of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/6415" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Arrow74.98m (245'12&quot;)Feadship2020">Arrow</a> and the way we created this ultra-modern and sleek yacht within more traditional proportions.”&nbsp;While talking about large yachts, it's impossible to not to mention <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5306" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="REV Ocean (Company)">REV Ocean</a>, which is due to be the largest yacht in the world when launched in 2026. Now expected to be around 195-metres, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5306" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="REV Ocean (Company)">REV</a> has been through some highly publicised delays and developments, but despite the broad exposure, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/161" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="H2 Yacht Design (Company)">H2</a>’s has gone somewhat unmentioned. Involved in the project from a very early point, the owner of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5306" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="REV Ocean (Company)">REV</a>, the Norwegian businessman Kjell Inge Røkke, first saw <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/161" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="H2 Yacht Design (Company)">H2</a>’s work onboard the 107.4-metre Ulysses (now <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/4946" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Andromeda107.4m (352'4&quot;)Kleven Maritime AS2016">Andromeda</a>) at the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Event/13" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Monaco Yacht Show - 2018">Monaco Yacht Show 2018</a>. “He didn’t necessarily like the interior of Ulysses, but Kjell admired what we had done at a commercial shipyard, using cruise ship technology and a tight budget, to create a superyacht finish and so we were commissioned to create the interiors of REV.”<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/308208/image/large-f0eaa1a977e141fe4c590f8d017fa765.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/308208"><img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/308207/image/large-9548aa44296343ae53a771e521687c0c.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/308207">With <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5306" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="REV Ocean (Company)">REV</a>’s construction now back underway, Jonny and the team have kicked back into gear, digging out the drawings and revising the interiors, where possible, to align with the new exterior. Kept tightly under wraps, Jonny describes her interiors as “minimal and quite industrial, almost like an apartment in regards to the architecture and aesthetic, with features such as perforated metal doors. He explains, “Throughout the design process, the longstanding successful collaboration with <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1414" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Bilgin Yachts (Company)">Bilgin Yachts</a> and lessons learned from feedback were pivotal. The main focus was to enable guests to spend ample time outdoors, which was achieved by maximising the square footage and enhancing shaded and sheltered areas, particularly in the new 163 and 170 series, as well as the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/9089" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Eternal Spark49.95m (163'11&quot;)Bilgin Yachts2024">Eternal Spark</a> and her sister ships. As a result, the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1414" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Bilgin Yachts (Company)">Bilgin</a> 499 GT semi-custom projects emerged as platforms with some of the largest outdoor spaces available.”<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/278568/image/large-aac052353ce281c4a03eb3e17c3f4527.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/278568">These large, open plan spaces with diverse potential uses, are part of the reason the yachts are so adaptable to each owner’s unique specifications. <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/9089" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Eternal Spark49.95m (163'11&quot;)Bilgin Yachts2024">Eternal Spark</a> is a key example of a yacht which has undergone a number of customisations, including an extension to her stern, which Emrecan Özgün sees as one of the yacht's most interesting additions. He adds, “One of the most enjoyable parts of these boats is the aft areas. Knowing that semi-platform beach clubs and main deck sitting areas close to the sea are where owners prefer to spend much of their time, we moved sea toys from the aft to the forward deck, allowing the crew to work more comfortably. This shift enabled us to create much larger and enjoyable spaces on the main deck aft area.”Project Silence, which is due to launch later this year as part of the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1414" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Bilgin Yachts (Company)">Bilgin</a> 263 series, is a perfect example of a yacht with a high level of customisation. Featuring interiors from <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/161" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="H2 Yacht Design (Company)">H2 Yacht Design</a>, the yacht boasts a 20 percent larger volume than her predecessors, in addition to a number of significant layout changes, including the positioning of the owner deck above the main deck for enhanced privacy and the relocation of the wheelhouse to the top deck for improved bridge visibility. Mehmet Şengün adds, “These customisations exemplify <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1414" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Bilgin Yachts (Company)">Bilgin</a>'s commitment to meeting owner preferences and enhancing the overall functionality and luxury of the yacht.” <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/218042/image/large-26e303488855afa7f8644bef92fd7252.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/218042">The yacht’s sistership <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/6653" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Leona80.0m (262'6&quot;)Bilgin Yachts2023">Leona</a> is another example of a highly customised <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1414" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Bilgin Yachts (Company)">Bilgin</a> superyacht, with her eye-catching bright red exterior and unique interior design. The <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1414" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Bilgin Yachts (Company)">Bilgin</a> team accommodated a number of bespoke changes in the yacht's architecture, such as a shortened exterior upper deck that allowed for a larger interior volume for the owner. The two Bilgin 163 yachts due to be delivered this year, Project Ame and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/9089" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Eternal Spark49.95m (163'11&quot;)Bilgin Yachts2024">Eternal Spark</a>, further demonstrate the potential of personalisation among the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1414" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Bilgin Yachts (Company)">Bilgin</a> fleet. Both designed by Unique Yacht Design and Hot Lab, the sisterships have similar exterior lines, but stepping aboard, guests are met by two vastly different interiors, that goes beyond material choice alone. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/278556/image/large-75f4af47988f53dfd89819f002751606.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/278556">Part of the success of the sub-500 GT series comes, without a doubt, from the carefully developed designs that have been created to appeal to a large spectrum of owners. Recognising that yacht owners desire a closeness to the ocean and abundance of natural light, the yachts have been carefully created with these details in mind. Mehmet Şengün explains, “Our clients have shown a keen interest in designs that offer expansive exterior living spaces, such as large aft decks, beach clubs, and ample sunbathing areas, which allow for greater enjoyment of the marine environment. Additionally, features that enhance the influx of daylight into interior spaces, like large windows and skylights, are highly valued for creating bright, airy, and welcoming environments onboard. The ability to customise these areas, tailoring them to specific preferences for outdoor entertainment, relaxation, or dining, significantly appeals to owners, so we have ensured that all of our yachts feature these key areas.” &nbsp;Specific examples of customisations currently underway onboard the 499 GT yacht projects include innovative interior features designed by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/908" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Hot Lab (Company)">Hot Lab</a>, such as a full-height round glass wall separating the lobby from the main living room, a floating staircase, a skylight on the sundeck floor, and a stunning chandelier in the main lobby. The use of gold-infused decor, with mirror-like surfaces and warm overhead lighting creates a luxurious interior design, further enhanced by the expansive horizontal windows which wrap-around the space. The main saloon is characterised by an eye-catching tiger onyx island fireplace, separating the lounge and dining areas onboard. The third stateroom on the lower deck has been transformed into storage in the form of an expansive owner’s dressing room, while the main deck houses two extensive VIP staterooms, displaying his and hers bathrooms and dressing rooms. The owner’s deck displays the most notable features onboard as the superstructure has been extended aft, showcasing a private lounge forward with access to the owner’s exclusive outdoor pool. Contemporary architecture juxtaposes with traditional design features across the owner’s deck, forming an elegant aesthetic. Gold and blue tiles adorn the shower room and circular bathtub within the owner’s ensuite. A curved white seating area overlooks the space, complete with patterned deep orange and blue furnishings.The fibre optic ceiling is adorned in a ‘night sky’ star pattern, while amethyst stone and agates decorate the opulent bar on the starboard side. As <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1414" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Bilgin Yachts (Company)">Bilgin Yachts</a> draws ever closer to delivering its flagship 80-metre motor yacht <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/6220" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Tatiana80.0m (262'6&quot;)Bilgin Yachts2020">Tatiana</a>, the yard and its project team has been busy over the past week conducting sea trials in the waters of Istanbul with the new vessel. Designed by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4305" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Unique Yacht Design (Company)">Unique Yacht Design</a>, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/6220" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Tatiana80.0m (262'6&quot;)Bilgin Yachts2020">Tatiana</a> is built in accordance with the latest IMO Tier III standards and comes fitted with a special exhaust system that provides “100% clean air emissions” according to her builder. During her recent sea trials, the vessel achieved a top speed of 19 knots and cruises at 12 knots with a consumption of 250 l/h.<img src="/uploads/store/photo/117774/image/large-7ebbb8df0f3862c9f86f624aeb3c0151.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/117774">“With her design and comfort elements, the Bilgin 263 is truly one of a kind,” commented Emrecan Özgü of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4305" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Unique Yacht Design (Company)">Unique Yacht Design</a>. “We created a very attractive yacht with a sleek and sexy profile while avoiding a high dosage of design clichés. Bilgin’s new state-of-the-art shipyard near Istanbul is a significant step forward for the Turkish yacht builder. Not just in terms of investment, but also as part of a long-term strategy to build bigger and raise the international profile of the brand. SuperYacht Times was the first media group to visit the facility and explore the two exciting new 80-metre projects currently under construction in the brand’s brand new sheds...<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/37811/image/large-ebf8946c8a61a3d7dc2f404ce51d701d.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/37811">Drive west along the coast from Istanbul’s Ataturk airport for half an hour and you come across the high-end, real estate development of West Istanbul Marina. Luxury villas and apartments overlook the picturesque marina with its restaurants and cafes. Dominating the scene are Bilgin’s brand new construction hangers and 700-tonne travel lift. Fully operational except for the reception, gym, lounge area and suites for visiting clients that is due for completion by the end of the year, the facility represents a multi-million euro investment for the Turkish builder as it moves beyond its sub-500GT comfort zone.“We started planning the new shipyard over four years ago, but we had been talking about it for much longer,”&nbsp;says Yildirim Bilgen, sales executive for Bilgin Yachts. “It’s all part of a long-term plan to upgrade our facilities and promote the brand to a wider audience. Turkey has lagged behind the Italians and north Europeans with our marketing strategies. It’s time to change that.” &nbsp;<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/31714/image/large-bb855e645e873ddb0405222b8280d663.JPG" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/31714">Before moving to its new headquarters, Bilgin was based down the road in Küçükçekmece. Like many boat builders in Turkey, it specialised in traditional, cold-moulded wood construction and the yard was filled with the heady aroma of sawdust and resin. Bilgin’s last wooden boat was the 45-metre <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/4808" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Elada45.0m (147'8&quot;)">Elada</a> in 2014, which overlapped with its first steel yacht, the 48.70-metre M&amp;M (now <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/3928" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Timeless48.7m (159'9&quot;)">Timeless</a>) launched in 2012. &nbsp;Since switching completely to steel and aluminium, the hulls and superstructures are fabricated at a dedicated yard in Yalova on the eastern side of the Bosphorus. That site is also due to be replaced, and Bilgin has acquired land nearby to build a new metalworking facility. After a first coat of primer, the bare hulls are then floated across the Sea of Marmara for fitting out. The first 80-metre hull (263 I) arrived at West Istanbul Marina in November 2017, followed a few months later by her sister ship (263 II). &nbsp;<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/31717/image/large-fe9634414a6077557681813262d6a208.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/31717">With exterior styling by Unique Yacht Design and interiors by H2 Yacht Design, the two superyachts are an impressive sight standing side by side in the largest of the pristine sheds that can be extended to over 100 metres in length (alongside are two 75m x 28m construction bays). At close to 1,680GT, they are more than twice the volume of the 51.80-metre <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/4807" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Dusur51.8m (169'11&quot;)">Dursur</a>, Bilgin’s largest yacht on the water, and when 263 I is launched in the first quarter of next year she will be the biggest of her kind completed in Turkey. Hull 263 II is expected to follow six months later, but the yard is in no hurry: “When you’re building yachts this size that take three or four years, it makes no sense to rush it,” says Yildirim.&nbsp;“We need time to achieve the high-quality construction we strive for and we’re not prepared to sacrifice those standards, even if the owner wants his yacht sooner.”&nbsp;The repeat client who commissioned the 80-metre projects is the owner of two other Bilgin yachts, a 35.5-metre and a 45-metre launched respectively in 2006 in 2011, both of which are named&nbsp;Tatiana. The contract for the first hull was signed in 2015 and the second followed a few months later. Conventional diesel drive was chosen from the start and, apart from a few styling details and a forward helipad on 263 II, the sister ships are identical in terms of technical specifications, performance and general arrangement with accommodation for 16 guests. &nbsp;<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/37815/image/large-3d5e41afa784d3c840a5a582b4ae654f.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/37815">In addition to the amenities you would expect to find on an 80-metre custom superyacht, a standout feature is the 9-metre indoor swimming pool in the beach club on the lower deck. Flanked by two shell doors that can be lowered to create side platforms, the stability calculations were made with the pool full, but to avoid splashing in a seaway the 23 cubic metres of water can be dumped into two heated reserve tanks during navigation. &nbsp;Both projects are built to full LY3 compliance and the ABS classification includes ABS Comfort Plus notation – a first for a Turkish-built yacht. The notation takes into account noise, vibration, indoor climate and lighting to ensure optimal onboard comfort, and Bilgin worked closely with noise control consultants van Cappellen to achieve the strict criteria. In the cinema room on the lower deck, for example, extra insulation was added not so much to block noise and vibration from the engine room getting in, but to prevent sound escaping into the adjacent gym when the cinema is in use. &nbsp; &nbsp;Another first for Bilgin is the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) exhaust treatment, which ensures high engine power and efficiency while reducing NOx emissions. Hull 263 I could have been exempt from this Tier III provision, but the shipyard deliberately delayed the keel-laying until after the IMO regulations came into effect for the North American and US Caribbean Emission Control Areas at the start of 2016. &nbsp;<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/37817/image/large-24d576c1a69ad28e60c69f3f33e5d4c3.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/37817"> “The catalytic converters take up as much space as the MTU engines, which meant a bigger engine room than usual,” says naval architect and project manager Sencer Güneer. “But we took the decision to have them installed anyway. Like the Comfort Plus notation, they represent added value for the owner by future-proofing his investment."&nbsp;With a workforce of over 360 personnel, Bilgin designs and manufacturers in-house all the fitted furniture aboard its yachts and moved its furniture factory from Tuzla to be closer to the new shipyard. The 5,000-sqm facility includes a metalwork shop that can make stainless steel and aluminium components from watertight doors, cranes and deck cranes to bollards, handrails and hydraulic passerelles. Rather than relying on subcontractors, manufacturing in-house means the company has total control over its build schedules and quality standards. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/37813/image/large-1215b330a361a893f8c6457b6908e49d.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/37813">Bilgin is pushing ahead with other projects and has started two new builds on spec in Yalova: a 67-metre and a 48-metre sister ship to <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/6001" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Nerissa47.5m (155'10&quot;)">Nerissa&nbsp;</a>named&nbsp;Ilium, which will debut at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show. The shipyard is in advanced negotiations with a client for a 108-metre project by H2 Yacht Design and the owner of the 52-metre Benetti&nbsp;<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/617" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="My Falcon52.0m (170'7&quot;)">My&nbsp;Falcon&nbsp;</a>(ex-Sai Ram), which was undergoing a cosmetic refit at the time of our visit, is considering a new 58-metre yacht with the yard. If the owner of 263 I and 263 II decides to sell, he is also expected to build bigger. &nbsp;Bilgin Yachts enjoys an international market but is not widely recognised as an international brand. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/37818/image/large-c6c263e9ac3e7aeae604be32d044ff1e.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/37818">Getting that message across involves challenging preconceptions and exploiting the full array of marketing tools available, including social media channels. Bilgin’s new shipyard is part of this branding process. As a world-class facility that shows its commitment to creating the right environment for building high-end superyachts, it resets the bar for shipyards in the country and elsewhere. &nbsp;“When&nbsp;<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/6001" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Nerissa47.5m (155'10&quot;)">Nerissa</a>&nbsp;was in Monaco last year, we had visitors who after touring the yacht and touching the finishes were surprised to learn that she was built in Turkey,” says Yildirim.&nbsp;“Then when I told them Bilgin has been building yachts for over 100 years, they were even more surprised. Insight: Bilgin reborn

Construction on Bilgin Yachts’ largest vessel to date, the 80-metre motor yacht 263 series, is well underway at the Turkish shipyard’s facility in West Istanbul Marina. Outfitting for the two sister yachts Bilgin 263 I and&nbsp;Bilgin 236 II is has begun following the completion of the first and second hulls. &nbsp;<img src="/uploads/store/photo/31715/image/large-bd2defdf57aa5fee7f501167399fe858.JPG" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/31715">Work on the Bilgin 263 I is said to be on track and is expected to be completed in the second half of 2019, while the Bilgin 263 II&nbsp;is set to make its debut in 2020. Both superyachts were started on speculation and feature an exterior design by Unique Yacht Design. H2 Design Studio and the Bilgin Yachts design team collaborated on her interior design. &nbsp;<img src="/uploads/store/photo/31712/image/large-40f456fef2057aee2b57fbc2e6b3b153.JPG" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/31712">One of the standout features of the 263 series is the large beach club, which is directly connected to the main saloon. Accommodating up to 16 guests on board, the&nbsp;Bilgin 263&nbsp;features an expansive master suite located on the upper deck, featuring a balcony, spa pool and plenty of space for private sun-lounging. <img src="/uploads/store/photo/11776/image/large-e4a462e2510b5e50f11d4b9cbb10181d.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/11776">The interior of the Bilgin 263 I will feature neutral and bright tones throughout its living areas, with the second hull featuring warmer tones. “Both the exterior and interior areas of the Bilgin 263 are full of surprises. To me, the most attractive area is the beach club itself,” said Emrecan Öztürk, CEO of Unique Yacht Design. “While designing the yacht, we placed all the tenders and sea toys in the front deck.
