Baglietto superyacht Lucky Me sold

The 46m Baglietto superyacht Lucky Me has been sold in Italy with a last known asking price of €17,500,000.

The Italian shipyard, Baglietto has announced a work order for a new 55-metre superyacht. The 55-metre vessel will be built in steel and aluminium for a European client.<img src="/uploads/store/photo/16548/image/large-893ccf48bdcb5be9b5d2565abd71cd9c.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/16548">The 55-metre vessel features exteriors from the drawing board of renowned Italian studio, Francesco Paszkowski Design and uses Baglietto’s traditional platform (the T-Line). The new 55-metre vessel is a classic Baglietto design, featuring sleek lines, lowered gunwales and side air vents which embody the brand’s unmistakable design aesthetic.&nbsp;The layout, in contrast, has been extensively customised and includes six cabins. Stand-out features on board will include a huge beach club area and a 160m2 sundeck, although further details about the yacht currently remain confidential.&nbsp;This continues a busy year for Baglietto, who previously sold the 46-metre Fast&nbsp;Lucky Me&nbsp;and a 54-metre all-aluminium displacement yacht for an American owner. This 55-metre superyacht - hull number 10225 of the La Spezia-based shipyard - has been sold with Cornelius Gerling from Edmiston representing the owner. “This 55-metre project”,&nbsp;says Baglietto’s CEO Michele Gavino, “is the third work order Baglietto has acquired over the last eight months, a time during which we have also delivered two new products (48-metre Andiamo and the first MV19 Ridoc) and presented two new projects that will complete our renovated range: a restyling of the 43-metre Fast and the brand-new 70-metre yacht by Mulder Design."She continued, "We are working with great commitment to our products, so as to ensure increasingly high quality, as well as a continued focus on research and development. In this way, we are able to offer our clients a varied and versatile range. Once again, having the opportunity to build the yacht on speculation has allowed us to offer the owner faster delivery times”.The yacht is expected to be delivered during 2019. Alongside this new 55-metre yacht, a 48-metre displacement craft - the twin sister of the recently-delivered motor yacht Andiamo -&nbsp; and a 43-metre yacht in the Fast Line range are currently under construction at the yard.&nbsp;

Baglietto signs contract for new 55m superyacht 

Baglietto has sold its first 46-metre FAST yacht following world debuts in Cannes and Monaco last year. The yacht has been renamed Lucky Me by her new owner and will spend the summer season cruising in the Mediterranean.

Baglietto 46m FAST renamed Lucky Me following sale

The Cannes Yachting Festival will kick off in just a few days time. Hosted from 6th to 11th September at the Cannes Vieux Port and Port Pierre Canto, the Show will kick off the yacht show season with over 550 yachts on display, almost 500 exhibitors, and in excess of 50,000 visitors.

Amongst the highlights at the Show this year will be the global launch of Turkish shipyard Sarp Yachts’ very first superyacht, the Sarp 46. Measuring 46 metres, she will be one of the largest yachts on display.

The 46 metre Fast superyacht from Baglietto featuring designs from Francesco Paszkowski will also enjoy her official unveiling in Cannes following her completion this summer, whilst the largest vessel on display is set to be the 52 metre Tommy, built by the Italian shipyard Benetti in 1995. An impressive total of 92 global launches will be made throughout the week.

New to the event this year is the introduction of a new area: La Terrasse. Ideally situated at the departure of the VIP shuttles, this new privileged area overlooks the old port and its 500 yachts on one side, and the Cannes bay and Croisette on the other, and is reserved exclusively for luxury stakeholders across the luxury goods, superyacht and automobile sectors.

We take a closer look at this Italian beauty ahead of her official unveiling in September.

Baglietto relied on designer Francesco Paszkowski to once again capture the brand’s energetic spirit in a composed yet full-of-flair package that beautifully exudes the performance capabilities of this 46-metre superyacht. The Fast line is all about speed, comfort and true Italian style and this latest addition to the Baglietto fleet embraces all of that, and so much more.

A lead grey exterior with jet black accents will set the 46m Fast apart from her Baglietto sisters. Large outdoor deck spaces give the yacht a smooth profile but thanks to her high freeboard, interior spaces are just as generous.

Bulwarks on each deck meet the exact minimum height requirements which would not call for the need of any handrails, further adding to the clean and uncluttered deck spaces which the line has become known for. The simplistic layout of each deck means the 46m Fast is as suited to relaxed weekends at anchor as she is at entertaining large groups of guests in port.

Her minimalistic exterior approach is carried throughout the interior, which is also designed by Paszkowski together with architect Margherita Casprini. Layers of bright lacquered surfaces and darker matt woods creates a luxurious environment in which guests can easily feel at home in. Guests are welcomed into the main saloon where a comfortable social lounge and formal dining area awaits.

A more intimate guest saloon is located on the upper deck and behind the wheelhouse. Here guests can chill out in a cosy environment while enjoying a late night movie or simply appreciating the high quality sound system by selecting one’s favourite playlist.

Moving forward through main deck, one finds the owner’s private study and en suite stateroom. This full beam cabin is certainly one of the 46m Fast’s interior highlights with its rich details and functional spaces. Clever lighting systems throughout the suite adds a fourth dimension to the level of detail which is so evident on board.

The lower deck hosts the additional four guest cabins – two VIP staterooms and two guest cabins, each with a Pullman bed. Again, amplifying lighting and mirrored surfaces creates the feeling of a much larger cabin.

The futuristic helm station, supplied by Telemar, is where the 46m Fast is commanded from. It is here where the twin MTU 16V 4000 engines are brought to life and engaged to power the yacht to her top speed of 27 knots.

Superyacht of the Week: Baglietto’s new 46m FAST

Following the launch of Baglietto’s first hull in their 46 metre FAST line last month, the yacht has been put through her paces in a series of sea trials sailing from the shipyard’s facility in La Spezia.

As with superyacht projects in the past, Baglietto relied on Francesco Paszkowski Design for the styling of this ground breaking vessel with interiors developed together with Margherita Casprini. The new 46 metre FAST stands out for its streamlined bow and rectangular transom design, together presenting a very sharp and slender exterior shape. This is complimented by a very sleek and compact superstructure, further enhancing aerodynamics.

Baglietto’s 46m FAST heads out on sea trials

Baglietto spent this past weekend launching the first hull in the Italian shipyard’s FAST line, the 46m FAST superyacht. SuperYacht Times were on scene in La Spezia to witness the launch ceremony that was attended by international press, the mayor of La Spezia and other local delegates.

As with superyacht projects in the past, Baglietto relied on Francesco Paszkowski Design for the styling of this ground breaking vessel with interiors developed together with Margherita Casprini. The new 46m FAST stands out for its streamlined bow and rectangular transom design, together presenting a very sharp and slender exterior shape. This is complimented by a very sleek and compact superstructure, further enhancing aerodynamics.

Despite having such a sporty exterior, the yacht is designed to offer the maximum in outdoor spaces. The aft upper area is created as a spacious terrace overlooking the ocean, with generous seating and sunbathing areas on offer.

The interior which is yet to be fully outfitted features warm shades of rosewood blended with cooler white lacquered deckhead panelling resulting in a refined and contemporary interior. The traditional layout offers four ensuite guest cabins on the lower deck, and the master suite - featuring an office, a dressing room, and the bathroom - on the main deck.

The yacht, entirely built in aluminium, will be pushed to a maximum speed of approximately 28 knots by twin MTU 16V4000 engines. It is classified with Lloyd's Register of Shipping and compliant to MCA standards.

Baglietto’s first 46m FAST superyacht launched

Baglietto has announced that the inaugural vessel in their new all-aluminium FAST line of boats is scheduled to be launched from their La Spezia facilities in just one month’s time. The 46 metre superyacht is an evolution of the brand’s previous models and has been designed by Baglietto in collaboration with Francesco Paszkowski Design.

Still referred to as hull #10221, she sports a streamlined bow and imposing stern as well as alternate trapezoidal and rectangular windows. The Baglietto team comment on the design of her spacious exterior areas, stating: “When designing this new vessel, great care was devoted to maximising the outdoor areas so as to allow passengers to be in closer contact with the sea when both cruising and at anchor, and to enjoy conviviality in the open air. The aft area of the upper deck is indeed like a huge open terrace overlooking the sea: featuring teak floors, it can be furnished with a large table and a spacious sunbathing area.”

She accommodates guests over a traditional four cabin layout, with three en-suite cabins on the lower deck and a large master suite on the main deck. A crew of nine will also be accommodated for on board.

Her interior design come from the drawing boards of Margherita Casprini in collaboration with Paszkowski, who have utilised the warm shades of rosewood in contrast to lacquered ceiling and side panels to create a chic and sophisticated environment. Fitting out operations are to be completed in the interiors imminently.

 

Powered by twin MTU 16V 4000 engines, she will have a top speed of 28 knots and will be MCA compliant. With the launch scheduled in April, more information will be released in the coming weeks.
