Pure Insanity

Pure Insanity is a 34-metre open hard top planing motor yacht built by Cantieri Navali Baglietto in its Varazze shipyard. Painted in dark metallic grey, this planing coupé whose sleek lines were designed by Francesco Paszkowski, runs at the maximum speed of 33 knots and cruises at 30 knots powered by her two 2,040 kW V12 MTU diesels. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/125502/image/large-0a05ddf8da65c6a741bed87776adad19.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/125502"><img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/125503/image/large-5a1aec87970cf2eb5edbeaa80a37ce85.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/125503"> <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/125504/image/large-776ca2fbf8ae7ec1eea14ff961665f9d.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/125504">Pure Insanity's deck spaces have been maximized by transforming the top of the deckhouse into a comfortable sundeck. For safety reasons, this is ringed by a guard rail that, to preserve the yacht's clean lines, can be removed when underway. Two further sun areas, both sizeable, are found on the aft deck and bow. The partly covered aft deck features a lounging and dining area. To achieve this the owner's suite is located amidships is only slightly larger than the VIP cabin, which also occupies the full beam. The remaining two cabins can swiftly be rearranged as either a twin or a double to suit the needs of the guests. A service area/pantry with a wash basin integrated into a quartzite rectangular column (which continues down the stair case) virtually separates the guests area from the wheel house. The wheelhouse itself, with it's three pilot seats, is open to the salon, allowing guests to follow the action from the comfort of the salon. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/125517/image/large-896fad878a6f54b303d33465f6e92378.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/125517">The crew quarters are located on the lower deck in the yacht's bow, where there are two cabins, each with en suite shower rooms, while the captain's cabin, also ensuite, is adjacent to the spacious galley and crew mess. The history of Cantieri Navali Baglietto spans the birth and development of the whole Italian yachting industry, with this famous company dictating styles and trends, and developing technology that has since become commonplace in Italy and abroad. Since 1996 Cantieri Navali Baglietto have entered a dynamic new phase by acquiring the Cantieri Ferrari in La Spezia and greatly increasing its productive capacity. Since then they have started to produce a series of displacement yachts that, like their high speed planing vessels, have become a point of reference for the world's yachting industry.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/125518/image/large-6e621649cc44cf0fb114ae9737c6f148.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/125518">In 2004 Gruppo Camuzzi acquired 100% of Cantieri Navali Baglietto and transformed it into a well organized international group comprising two shipyards: <ul> <li>The original 19,000 sqm Cantieri Navali Baglietto yard in Varazze located adjacent to the sea. </li> <li>A yard of 32,000 sqm in La Spezia, again located adjacent to the sea, which is equipped with 8,000 sqm of sheds and a 720 tonne travel-lift, one of the largest in the Mediterranean. New retractable sheds have recently been purchased, and over the next three years the yard will be enlarged and a new building will be constructed to house Gruppo Baglietto's Headquarters. </li>
