Together they have provided a fully integrated and optimized rig package where the entire sail and rig plan work cohesively.To supplement the sail and rig system, a new load sensing and analysis system developed by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/2447" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Southern Spars (Company)">Southern Spars</a> and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/804" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Future Fibres S.L.U (Company)">Future Fibres</a> will be present on board the new supermaxi. This technology will enable the owner and his crew to monitor exact loads in the rig and rigging and push the yacht to its maximum sailing performance while keeping it safe. The ClubSwan 125 seeks to become the world’s fastest supermaxi sailing yacht, thanks to the innovative design solutions on board.

ClubSwan 125: Redefining the supermaxi 

Finish shipyard Nautor’s Swan has launched its second Flush Deck version of their Swan 115 line. Shamanna become the second hull to be launched in the 115 range, followed shortly after by the unveiling of hull three and the first Race version of the line, the new Highland Fling 15. Hull one, Solleone, was launched in 2015.

Designed by German Frers, Shamanna features a wide stern that joins at a plumb bow forward. The yacht has been created with performance in mind, making use of high tech materials and practical innovations such as a twin rudder system designed for increased control when heeling.

The traditional teak interior is hand built by Nautor’s expert craftsmen in Finland, with light oil wax satin finishes and modern details throughout. The Swan 115 FD has the owner’s cabin forward, with crew quarters aft and is built to MCA LY3 class.

Nautor’s Swan launches 115 FD Shamanna

Finnish shipyard Nautor’s Swan will celebrate a landmark anniversary later this year, marking 50 years since its establishment. Leonardo Ferragamo, Group Executive Chairman of the company, states: “This anniversary is the perfect moment to look at our future taking inspiration from our glorious heritage and its core values, that are still fundamental to our company and our way of doing business.”<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/158021/image/large-716690661ec2c9b22e1ff44faf4584f4.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/158021">The company has grown its line of Maxi yachts in recent years, introducing the new Swan 95 of which the first of the series has already been sold, with the launch planned for this autumn, as well as the Swan 115, the first of which has been delivered, with three others on order.The Swan 130 project will soon create a new flagship for the Swan Line. The 35 metre captivates with her sleek and modern exterior finished in a classic white and blue paint job.“We started the project two years ago and it has been an ongoing project. A challenge for the whole team and we have delivered one of the most superior yachts that we have ever built. The yacht is built to a performance design by Judel/Vrolik Naval Architects for an owner who is looking to spend time in the Mediterranean with his family. The yacht is dressed in a racing orange exterior to match her performance capabilities. Constructed form carbon fibre, Doryan has a lifting keel that allows her to access shallower anchorages and marinas. Atalante shares a similar design to her 90-foot namesake, owned by the same owner. The owner wanted a larger, faster yacht and that is exactly what the gurus at Hoek Naval Architects delivered. Nautor’s Swan preparing the launch of Swan 115 FD

Four Swan 115’s in build at Nautor’s Swan

The Finnish shipyard Nautor’s Swan has announced that the deck has been successfully installed on the first Swan 115 S. The 35.20 metre sailing yacht is the new flagship Swan, with the design being launched at the beginning of 2014. She features an innovative hull design and naval architecture by German Frers, and is powered by one Scania DI13 070M 450hp engine.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/152931/image/large-60618f6920a7f72c725921d73160037a.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/152931">The Swan 115 S is scheduled to be launched in two months time. In addition, a Swan 115 FD is also under construction at the yard facilities in Pietarsaari. Deck installed on the first Swan 115 S

The Finnish shipyard Nautor’s Swan has reported that 2015 will be an exceptionally busy one, with new launches, boat shows and several ClubSwan events on the horizon.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/152368/image/large-b397c94c32e8e0f3e273a93bbef80a3e.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/152368">The season will kick off with Boot Düsseldorf 2015 from the 17th to 25th January 2015. Nautor’s Swan will be present at the show with further information regarding their current SwanLine ranging from 53 to 115 feet, with a focus on the new Swan 95, which enjoyed its official debut at the Rolex Swan Cup and Monaco Yacht Show 2014. With a new owner already secured, this Swan 95 S is already in build and is expected to be delivered in summer 2017.Other yachts under construction at the yard include the first of four flagships sold, the Swan 115, which is scheduled to be launched this summer. In addition, the Swan 60RS is in its final stages of build, and will be soon moved from the plug &amp; mould fabrication and lamination plant to the Boatbuilding Technology Centre (BTC).The deck of the Swan 115-001 is already at BTC where the team are ready to start the teak laying process. Meanwhile, the second Swan 115 is in assembly and the third Swan 115 is in lamination. Swan 36 Tarantella, the iconic first Swan ever built, will soon undergo a complete refit, alongside a Swan 68 which is also being refitted.The 2015 ClubSwan racing season will set off with the second edition of the Rolex Swan Cup Caribbean hosted from the 3rd to 7th March by Yacht Club Costa Smeralda in their clubhouse and marina in Virgin Gorda, BVI.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/152369/image/large-070256dd726a8196b8128bc424120526.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/152369">This year will also include the traditional Swan Challenges, where ClubSwan recognises Swan owners competing in the world’s most important offshore regattas with handcrafted Asprey Swan Challenge trophies. This year’s line up of events includes: the RORC 600 as the Swan Caribbean Challenge, the Rolex Middle Sea Race as the Swan Mediterranean Challenge, Flensburger Fordewoche as the Swan Baltic Challenge (before the start of the Nord Stream Race for the Gazprom Swan 60 Class) and the New York Yacht Club Transatlantic Race as the Swan Transatlantic Challenge.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/152370/image/large-c3f751701d977d3bd4e831278b26235c.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/152370">Other signature events over the year include the Gazprom Swan European Regatta in Cowes, UK (July 4th to 10th), which will include the Swan 45 World Championships. Hull number two in the Swan 115 series was moved from Nautor Swan's lamination facilities in Kållby to Nautor BTC last week, a distance of about 16 km, by road. Second Swan 115 moved to assembly yard

Nautor’s Swan has reported an especially busy period for the team located in Finland, with the company’s order book full. Projects underway at Nautor’s Swan

Lamination of hull of first Swan 115 S completed

The year is off to an excellent start for Finnish luxury yacht builder, Nautor’s Swan with the sale of Swan 115 FD - 002. Nautor also offers the option of a lifting keel, ideal for cruising the corners of the globe.The interior configurations for the Swan 115 are also limitless with the owner’s cabin aft or forward, three or four guest cabins, as well as the option for a separate dining area.
