After seven months of construction time, Royal Huisman has unveiled some images of their secretive Project 404 (aka MM597) as they recently turned the 59.7-metre hull in Vollenhove. Malcolm Mckeon Yacht Design and Studio Liaigre are responsible for the exterior and interior of this coming project.
Photo: Royal HuismanThe final product, due to be delivered in 2022, will be a high-performance sloop with a reversed bow and striking hull lines. She is set to host up to 12 guests and 10 crew who will have the option to board via the platforms on either side of the yacht or the large transom opening which will create the beach club.
Photo: Royal HuismanAt the yard's sister company, Rondal, the contours of the carbon composite deckhouse, cockpit coamings and main sheet arch are all currently under construction. The new superyacht will also feature a lifting keel, retractable propulsion, twin carbon rudders, carbon electric winches and a large main tender hatch.
