Onboard AKYacht's magnificent 85m superyacht Victorious

The sun glistened off of Victorious, Akyacht’s whopping 85-metre explorer yacht, at the Monaco Yacht Show earlier this year. She was certainly one of the most show stopping yachts on display there. Notwithstanding the fact that she’s the 13th largest superyacht currently on the market, she garnered the attention of show-goers thanks to her elegant exterior styling, finished in light blue and which borders on a military aesthetic.Victorious yacht cruisingVictorious is a harmony of contradictions: warm, welcoming and deftly intimidating. It was a culmination of efforts from an array of designers who curated, crafted and delivered Victorious

Her naval architecture came from the drawing boards of Marco Yachts , while her exterior styling was entrusted to Michael Leach Design, world-renowned for his stylistic flair. The design team had 2,2991 GT of interior volume to play with and they’ve cut through every inch with modernity and grace, emulating the look and feel of a five star hotel.Victiorious yacht barVictiorious yacht hall and staircaseEach onboard space boasts its own character and styling, to provide guests with excitement and variety as they meander around onboard. Importantly though, Victorious’ interior may be highly dynamic, yet instills a sense of synergy. Up to twenty guests can be accommodated onboard, and they have ample opportunities to socialise in any of the many spaces that she offers.

The main saloon is fitted with wrap around windows that are a perfect feature that accentuates the minimalist feel.

Getting her there are Victorious’ twin CAT engines that generate enough power to give her a cruising speed of 13 knots and a top speed of 15.5 knots. When guests do want to disembark and feel dry land under their feet, they can get there via helicopter thanks to Victorious’ helipad capable of holding an AC145 or equivalent.
